I lived in edmonton for 12 years and ft macmurray for 8 . Ive been gone 20 years now. I know how you must feel to return..thanks for showing us.....i miss it everyday
Man, I need to say how relaxing your videos are! I am watching them for an hour now hahah this one is my favourite. And the songs make all the difference. Excellent, super calming. I love it and I will surely watch it again when I'm stressed. My eyes say thank you hahah have a nice day, sir! Hope you are doing well. 😊
Blarg, just cause I was talking about it with ya, and now that I watch this, I just wanna go even more haha. You even passed the hotel I stayed at the last time I was in Edmonton in this video! But I agree, the skylines we get in the prairies are pretty amazing. As for gas at 65 cents/litre, I know of gas being as low as 45 cents/litre in SE Alberta last week. Lowest I've ever seen it is 14.9, but that was during the gulf war back in like 1990 before all the taxes started getting put on gas. Didn't break $1/litre for the first time in Sask until sometime in 1999 or 2000. Great video as always!
45 cents? Damn! we’re hit with a dilemma. the gas prices are so low that I want to go on more road trips but at the same time it’s frown upon to go out at the moment. Thank you for watching! always nice to hear from you!
Yeah, Walsh Alberta, just on the other side of the sask/alberta border last tuesday was 44.9/litre. I always wanna go on road trips haha, I just never have the funds or the means to do so
I need to go on a road trip down Trans-Canada highway 1! I’ve only taken it by going to Winnipeg, but never taken it going to Calgary. It’s on my mind now haha.
Haha, well, if you do take that road, gives you a chance to check out brooks, bassano, medicine hat, and swift current too! You've already been to moose jaw and regina! If you went east, get to check out Brandon, Manitoba too, since I know the 16 doesn't connect with the 1 until closer to Winnipeg
@@canadiandriverjez3965 yes! i went on it like 4 or 5 times because i go to down town where a resturant is where they give you the best food ever, you should try it
Very great video such nice clouds. Thanks! and when you went from Bc to Edmonton did anybody ask why you were driving their like a cop ect. Just asking out of curiosity.
None at all, but I made sure that I didn’t make any physical contact with anyone. This video was taken a week ago and strict measures like what we have today wasn’t implemented yet. I am self quarantining and self monitoring (just in case) myself here in Saskatoon!
Wow, the roads are so empty! I remember watching a video several years ago of someone driving around Pyongyang, North Korea and the roads were just as empty as they are in your video.
I agree the Alberta skies can be breathtaking!

@@canadiandriverjez3965 You know things are bad when traveling in other parts of Canada is now frowned upon, exception unless travel is neccessary.
True, I had no other choice but to go back to Sask due to my school being online and I can’t afford another month’s rent :/
@@canadiandriverjez3965 I changed my you tube name so still fan of your channel just a different name.
I already miss Wise man, hahaha

Edmonton is a modern city 👌
Yes she is! :)
Is Edmonton always this deserted?
Downtown Edmonton is almost deserted.
Early April gas was down to $.48 / l
They call it Deadmonton for a reason
Great video! Love Edmonton 💙 even though never been to this city! Hope to be there one day. Btw, what music are you using in the video?
I use epidemic sound music! and thank you for the kind comment! :)
