It's such a roll of the dice to time your visit to capture Bluebells. I was out last weekend and had the same as you Mate. That said, since then I've found another local woodland with a carpet of them. Let's hope they are still as good tomorrow morning, 🤞. Loved the drone footage, at one point I thought you'd climbed a tree but then remembered, 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for sharing Mate and take care, 👍📸
I think you were too early, maybe April has been so cold & dry. Still envious of these woodlands that don't have ivy ridden trees. Drove into the Quantocks while away on Exmoor & I wondered in a Woodland for ages, but every where was over populated with trees, messy, ivy & rubbish. The bluebells were very scant. Drove back despondent. I like the natural theme with no ear banging music other than mother nature. very peaceful & calming. Thank you.
Love the Nature sound track Gary ,looks like a beautiful spot. Actually watched this the day you put it out & clean forgot to comment....but you gave me the impetus to get off my ass & go find bluebells, so thanks for that 👍👍
You got got three good pictures there Gary. I do like the floating canopies of fresh green leaves. Up here in Stirling the bluebells have yet to appear, but now that it has warmed up a bit I think they will be out later next week. Thanks for this vlog, I like the short & sweet format.
Another great video Gary. I know just how you feel I went out the other day and when I got there I was totally bemused at where to start. Some lovely photos to I think they are late or I’m early this year can’t work it out. Take care keep up the good work Trev
I'm out looking for autumn colour and your shooting spring flowers. I still haven't found anything worthwhile. I liked your forest shots with the bluebells. Seems consensus is that its still too early over there due to climate conditions. Maybe revisit in a week or two. Thanks for the vid Gary
Nice Gary. Great work with what you had. Could sense the frustration at not being able get immersed in the woods etc. Walking was a little less heroic but still told the story. 😂
A bit early for bluebells. Spring was also rather late this year. Although now its arrived its very dry. I haven't seen a single bluebell here yet, although I'm sure they'll be through in the next fortnight. Personally I'm dubious about the hemming in of pathways. It only badly increases the wear on certain sections that never get the chance to rejuvenate and just becomes a de-stabilised bog when it rains. If the wild flowers were rare I could see a point but siberian bluebells are one of our commonest flowers. I went back to a park I used to visit regularly as a youth, that either by intention or a cash strapped council was going through a process of re-wilding, overgrown paths, uncut bushes, undefined borders between lakes and land. Much more relaxed space. Separating people from the land, even if its just a psychological method gives us less respect in the long run, not more. Not that I'm suggesting running through the wheat fields like a certain Prime Minister.
Yes , its a bit early still i think , i went out yesterday to shoot bluebells and had the same problem , also dont think my creative flow is working yet , ie out of practice , you got some lovely shots though Gary .
Bugger Bluebells. Never grow in the right place and there are either too few and they look sad and pathetic or too many and it’s just a featureless carpet of blue. A valiant effort, Gary ! Tomorrow will be attempt no. 4 ....... and I still haven’t got a decent image .....🙁🙁
Some lovely images Gary. Something magical about an early morning spring woodland/bluebell picture. How does the sony compare with the canon for landscape images?
Nice one Gary, quiet and peaceful 👌, do appreciate you did not act like a wild photographer who shows no respect for boundaries! I think it's a first for you with no music! I haven't tried yet cheers and nice images mate!
Your a kind person to abide by the boundaries set up. Many people would not. I enjoyed the pics. You captured beautiful nature.
Awesome images beautiful bluebells well done ...

Thanks Gary I know where I will be going next week I was out today in Chorleywood House Estate and the bluebells were the same not quite fully out.
Wow, I was there 2 weeks ago and they are still not fully bloom. Perhaps I should check it again this weekend.

Wow. Your images look 3D Gary,
Shame not more bluebells and as you say you can't go where you wanted. Great job all the same.
What a shame the bluebells aren’t fully out yet. A bit too cold for them. But at least you tried, and still got some nice shots.

Well that was short but sweet mate 😁 Lovely images though 👍👍
Liked the first shot best. I think the Bluebells are later coming out this year because its been so cold and dry. A revisit next week maybe?

Nice environment. Just did and posted last weekend the same kind of vlog/photography of bluebells but here in belgium. Greets. Alain.
