Awesome, the wires inside BMW headlights start to crack and fall apart over time so this video was exactly what I was looking for on Google because I was thinking of buying Liquid Tape to do the repair but I already have Plati Dip in my garage. 👍

Crazy you posted this. I've been using this for awhile now when I rebuild BMW headlights and make new harnesses.

Does the Plasti Dip spray also insulate?

      Yes. It´s the same substance.

Would you recommend Liquid Tape over Plasti Dip? Or are they basically the same, except for the built in brush? Thank you!

They are the same. So take whatever fits your needs best.

@@KainkaLabs thanks, I was thinking to buy the liquid tape. But I was also curious if plasti dip was the same as liquid tape. Which it is.

You can peel it off again because it doesn´t harden but remains soft.

@@KainkaLabs So its less permanent than silicone?

No it's actually very resilient you have to peel the heck out of it for it to come off I recommend the hell out of it actually! I use it on the wiring harness of my motorcycles and can't be more happy. I'm out here in the east coast of Florida and the saltwater really kills wires this is really the only solution to do it right the first time. It's very helpful to also know let the can spray and the paint on and the dip are all the same substance so whatever is easier for you to work with you should grab and try.
