This actually made me respect Henry Golding quite a bit. He has a high EQ. You can see that Michelle Yeoh doesn’t really understand what they’re talking about from the beginning but he makes her feel really included the whole way through. An example is at 3:32.
I like how people are assuming that Constance was "not having it" or is "too uptight" in this video because she was the most blunt and opinionated out of the three. Honestly, she seemed the most engaged in this interview and video to me and I wish people would stop making rash judgments and illogical assumptions. Like were we all watching the same video or did I not see her probably smile the most and was passionate about her own arguments? She also made a joke with the paper tower roll as she smiled before she said "I like the size of that" and Phil obviously got the joke. Seems to me y'all are the ones that are too uptight about someone being honest, blunt, and opinionated.
I think it’s just because she’s not as “loose” or “goofy” as the others, but you can clearly tell that she’s present and she looks like she’s enjoying it.They were saying the same thing when she was with ken and awkwafina, and it’s unfair.
I SCREAMED when Constance said she always has hair elastics around her hands. My friends always make fun of me for that haha. Finally a relatable icon! Much love from Malaysia and can't wait to see the movie here 😎
I like Constance but really Noticed how Henry and Michelle are just chillin in this video . They seem like really good friends ...maybe because they’re both Malaysians ?
so excited for this movie!! i so rarely get out to see a movie in a theater (even if i really want to see it) but i am determined to get out and see this one!
I love WongFu because it’s a place where societal issues can be openly discussed, and to be honest, I was expecting some of that from this interview. It would’ve been really powerful to have such big actors joining in on the conversation about issues in the asian american community, so I was a little disappointed that the opportunity was used for the typical, fun, game style interview. That being said though, this was still a great video and I thoroughly I enjoyed it! Keep up the great work!!
But Henry was never a Citizen of Malaysia. He usually introduced himself as from East Malaysia , Sarawak Borneo. I have proof from all the other interviews. Look it up yourself.
nur hani mitie what I'm trying to emphasise is he never wanted to be recognised as from Malaysia he just wants to be specifically recognise as from East Malaysia
This movie was amazing. Words can't describe how this movie impacted me. I laughed (a lot), cried, and screamed (for the men of course). The all asian and asian-american cast was brilliant, inspiring, incredible, and empowering. This is my new favorite movie. HANDS. DOWN. It was amazing for once to see more people who I can connect to on screen representing me and my culture. Everyone needs to see this movie ASAP, it will not be a waste of money AT ALL. Harry Shum Jr. + Henry Golding = THIRST TRAP.
devonferris There has been some, but asian representation in film has been little to none..CRA is a big movement forward in getting asian Americans representation and finally having them in major roles
Catherine Spellman - There is no "some". There has always been in the past, you were just too young to know it. Sometimes young people forget there was life before their life began.
devonferris yes well, it’s been 25 years since a major film has centered an asian American story with an all Asian American cast; maybe there were minor ones. This is just the first *major* film in 25 years
Having money facing the same way comes from the retail industry. The "theory" is that when counting large amounts of money and when the money is faced the same way it's easier to spot for example, when you have a $5 mixed in with your $10's ... and can't wait to see the movie!
Angela C or British, mainland European, Peruvian, Japanese, Korean, etc. America's the only country that has incredibly similar bills that I can think of off the top of my head
Constance reminds me of my mum but in the best way possible. My mum grew up in poor third world conditions, worked in a restaurant, became a very diligent worker, had to hustle on a few bucks an hour, while studying and has become a respectable in her workplace as well as well loved because of her kind personality. I love my mum lol
Love Henry and Respect for Michelle yeoh for this interviewww!!...love their personality and their humble aura...been always so impressed with michelle yeoh's movies, and Henry is like the new It guy but with a great personality...
You guys! This is so goddamn funny! I held back watching it since I was so busy the last few days but man, seeing them react at these hacks (and actually trying them out which is a first to most react ones) is so entertaining. I've seen the trailer for the movie and was unimpressed but seeing them off-character made me want to watch it. Good job WFP!
Ah such an amazing and funny cast! Omg halfway through I realized I was so stupidly starstruck and staring in awe at Michelle Yeoh lol still remember watching The Heroic Trio when I was a little girl with her and Anita Mui and Maggie Cheung ❤️
Geesh, how do you put more than two words together in the presence of Michelle Yeoh? Congrats on not being completely star struck throughout that whole bit.
I can’t wait to see this movie ... all the casts are wonderful and Henry is so gorgeous and he dotes on Michelle .. being the legendary movie star .. and she’s gorgeous too....
idkkk, i'm a bit too honest in a lack of filter kinda way sometimes and i dont even realize unless someone points it out lmao some people are like that
I don't think she was angry or anything but she definitely looks exhausted to me. Sitting very still in the beginning to conserve energy. Some people said they had a long press day. They are human, I know I would be tired after a bunch of interviews.
Great fun interview! Love all of the cast as well and will definitely be watching the movie. On a side note, one of my life goals is to now be interviewed by Phil LOL =)
I just finished the entire trilogy and these 3 are JUST THE BEST TO PLAY AS RACHEL, NICK AND ELEANOR. Also..I NEED MORE CRAZY RICH CONTENT FROM WONG FU
I was at customs at NYC coming back from Europe, and then the officer asked why I have so many electronics and gadgets, wondering if I'm selling them later, I told him point blank, "I can afford it, why can't I have that many?"
"if time is money, this is not a hack" constance is a blessing in every single possible way
Ok. First reply though...
wong fu AND crazy rich asians????
this video is so iconic!!
AmandaRachLee AMANDA! DIDNT EXPECT TO SEE U HERE! AND YES THIS VID IS ICONIC! 👏
Oh, you're one of those purists? 🤣. I think you should go complain about how the cast is not singaporean enough then ;)
Omg I love your channel ❤️❤️❤️
u look like michelle yeoh
OMG it’s Amanda
This actually made me respect Henry Golding quite a bit. He has a high EQ. You can see that Michelle Yeoh doesn’t really understand what they’re talking about from the beginning but he makes her feel really included the whole way through. An example is at 3:32.
Henry and Michelle are like real mother and son!! >
I like how people are assuming that Constance was "not having it" or is "too uptight" in this video because she was the most blunt and opinionated out of the three. I didn't see what others saw I enjoyed it and didn't think she was being any type of away aside from funny
I think it’s just because she’s not as “loose” or “goofy” as the others, but you can clearly tell that she’s present and she looks like she’s enjoying it.They were saying the same thing when she was with ken and awkwafina, and it’s unfair.
Well said. I guess women can't be opinionated or blunt in this world ;0 does that mean she has to be quiet shy and polite to not be 'uptight'?
This comment did not age well lmao
Well.... this video speaks volumes now
Holy shit Michelle Yeoh still looks identical to how she was 15 years ago
kikichan86 AGELESS!!!
kikichan86? I know right? she has not age. What an icon and a legend. I would say since the 80's
No. She is even more beautiful.
She's the real super rich malaysian. Benefitted by corrupt previous malaysian government
my precise consensus.
I SCREAMED when Constance said she always has hair elastics around her hands. My friends always make fun of me for that haha. Finally a relatable icon!
Much love from Malaysia and can't wait to see the movie here 😎
paperplaneswish yaaaassss
Shes an icon??🤔
lmao not to be harsh but seems like everyone has hair ties around their wrists. i think you should be making fun of your friends xddd
This is common. Wtf?
paperplaneswish same I always wear them on my wrist
Michelle Yeoh is always a graceful and elegant lady! and a big star in Asia!! so happy she came onto the show
How do you even pronounce that last name? Seems like a random set of vowels.
Mark Lee In most interviews, people have been pronouncing it “yo”. It’s like the Yeo brand of asian drinks if you’re familiar with it.
@@MarkLee1 youre asking like you dont have most asian surname
@@justinianoantonio perhaps he could be a non-Asian “Lee”. Just like the Confederate general Robert E. Lee
OMG so excited to see Crazy Rich Asians and glad that y’all did something with the cast!
"I Like The Size Of This" 😂😂😂
" I Like It Cold" 😂💀
Diana Reacts I know, she is so funny!! 😂
5:45
Michelle Yeoh 😍😍😍
Near relatives of corrupt chinese Malaysian. Manipulating energy contract with previous Malaysian government
Therapy Dog so what
Therapy Dog the Chinese people are not bad only the Chinese government is bad.
Justin Y. You sure? Chinese eat dogs and other animals? Disgustings
This is old news
"You gotta get the angle right" 7:21 I really can't with them XD
Right I waz weak
I like Constance but really Noticed how Henry and Michelle are just chillin in this video . They seem like really good friends ...maybe because they’re both Malaysians ?
Sasha Jaquelin where can I watch free
Mee Mee Khaing Zaw Thats spam. Plus go to the theaters and actually support them. Don't pirate it jeez.
That’s exactly what I was thinking
No they are related bro. Michelle is Henry's mom.
probably because constance wu is a huge diva, just not a very likable person
Michelle is such a madame, even when she dresses in jean and denim, she's just naturally a high-class lolll
Michelle Yeoh being this sweet in real life is solid proof that she's an amazing actress to portray such different characters.
so excited for this movie!! i so rarely get out to see a movie in a theater (even if i really want to see it) but i am determined to get out and see this one!
Michelle Yeoh, the legend!!! She doesn't age! She worked with so many super stars! What a Resume!
Watched the pre screening for this movie and I loved it!
Wait you're here?
i can't believe you asked these questions to MICHELLE YEOH lol
How do you even pronounce that last name? Seems like a random set of vowels.
It's a common chinese suname in Malaysia - pronounced Yoh.
"First of all...that kind of socks..??" 7:06 savage lol
glad, this movie has some Malaysian represent.
Pau Yee Lew, looking for this comment. Not just 1, but 2 of them.
One of it has real connection to biggest energy corruption in malaysian history
@@jakuteng not two but three..including carmen soo. I saw her in the trailer.
Constance Wu is my queen
A. Emelia sings sorry for you
Haha the books were so fun to read!! I can't wait to see how they play it all out~~

JustLilyH they might come out with a second video, you never know
hopefully!
"I like the size of that" lmao
Proud moment for Wong Fu. Always promoting diversity. Thank you
Both Henry Golding and Michelle Yeoh are Malaysians! 🙌🏻🇲🇾
Yasssss
No one gives a fuck.
But Henry was never a Citizen of Malaysia. He usually introduced himself as from East Malaysia , Sarawak Borneo. I have proof from all the other interviews. Look it up yourself.
George Levi i believe east malaysia still considered as malaysia.
nur hani mitie what I'm trying to emphasise is he never wanted to be recognised as from Malaysia he just wants to be specifically recognise as from East Malaysia

henry seems like a chill dude.
This is so cool! Finally some represent!
JamesBond - represent? lol, you say that as if there have never been asians represented in the movies before.
devonferris There has been some, but asian representation in film has been little to none..CRA is a big movement forward in getting asian Americans representation and finally having them in major roles

I love Michelle Yeoh's voice and her response to "life hacks" is priceless. ❤️
Crazy Rich Yappies
hot dang, constance is glowing and gorgeous. how were you able to function in the presence of michelle????
i don't even recognize her in that hair - it looks really good on her
Z W Naah, she looks like a nanny or housekeeper in LA in that hair color
@@Philnp272 exactly, the color is so tacky
When I first saw the trailer for Crazy Rich Asians, I immediately thought of Wong Fu!
Cake Crumb Yeah Wong Fu came to mind as well as Fung Bros. (who actually discussed the uppcoming movie several months ago)
I thought of @Ryan Sylvia but that’s cuz they did a parody of the trailer
Michelle never ages! Gorgeous!
This is a dream collab!!! Crazy Rich Asians is soooo good!! I saw an advanced screening of it and AAAAAHHHHH GREAT JOB GUYS!!
*sniff the cheese* “minty smell” lol
“Rub it” lol
“you know we have to get the angle” lol
Henry is funny🤣
Great hosting Phil! These videos make me so happy.
OMG so excited for this movie! Its the first big film production with an all Asian American cast since Joy Luck Club!!
2 of my favorite things in one... Wong Fu interviewing some of the cast for crazy rich Asians, life can't get any better than this!
Proud to see those 2 Malaysians on one of my fav UA-cam's channel!

More so banks than retail, and it also helps speed up the counting since you're not getting new visual cues every third bill.
or just be Canadian and have different colour bills ;)
Angela C or British, mainland European, Peruvian, Japanese, Korean, etc. America's the only country that has incredibly similar bills that I can think of off the top of my head
If you don’t have a heated toilet seat with bidet, you’re missing out. I can’t sit on regular toilets anymore without feeling like a peasant.

Constance was definitely in a bad mood shooting this, but i still like how savage she is.
Tai Kyuhken yeah it’s v noticeable. I love the whole cast (esp Constance since FOTB) but Constance was having an off day prolly

Can't wait for the movie! So excited for Asian representation, hopefully this will be the start of something good!
Bianca C. - uhm.... start of representation? There has always been asian representation in movies for decades.
Glad y’all did promo together!! Idk about some of those hacks tho haha
