Black or double-black?....either way it's awesome! Rigs in Zen | Squamish, BC

- Rigs in Zen is claimed to be a black diamond on trailforks, but with so many double black features it might as well be one. It is also an extremely long trail compared with many other in the area. Is it my new favorite trail in Squamish? Click to find out. I was thoroughly entertained throughout the ride and challenged on many of the features, of which hit almost all of them successfully.
Access to this trail is from the top of Debeck's Hill near Alice Lake, well past the entrance to Crouching Squirrel Hidden Monkey. It's a hard climb/hike but well worth it.
Squamish is located in BC, Canada about a 50 minute drive from downtown Vancouver.

The camera will never be able to pick up how steep this stuff is. I'm a trail runner in the area, and this trail is hard to run/hike down. Great work!
Thanks. Yes this thing is a lot steeper in person!
Looks gnarly for a single black.
Thats the same conclusion I came to 👍
Awesome videos Matt - love the call-outs!

Rode this trail in the days of 80mm fork and rim brakes, if you can call walking riding. All I can say is I cleaned the climb to the top. Based on this would I go back with appropriate gear? Probably not.
Hehe. I'm always amazed by what people did with their MTBs back in the day!
Oh god, please make your bike quiet 😂🙏
Hehe. I'm still running 2x
That's trail is fuckin wacky lol
Haha. I loved it!
