Sadly, I walked in this man's shoes many years ago, young child and all. You end up finding yourself comforting the people who try to console you when they get tearful! For me, talking about it was the right thing to do and it still is. You have no real time to feel sorry for yourself as you have a little one, utterly dependent on you. It certainly helps you to set your priorities in life.

I was so upset when he mentioned his two year old little girl. My 2 year old little girl hugged me and said 'love you daddy'. I can't even try to comprehend how difficult it will be when that little girl asks for her mummy and you can't say... she's at work... at the shop... good luck and i hope you do well
David I feel you - my mother died of bowel cancer in June 2016 after being diagnosed in Feb 2016, aged 60. So aggressive and cause it all happens so quick I think the shock is greater. Sending my prayers xxxx
