Bro i loved the roll of the eyes the second he started singing. Those of us that grew uo listening to bob marley totally get it. He sounds so much like hes straight outta jamaica when he does reggae or ska . Dudes incredible and i love watching people that love good music
My man - so many reactors pause/chat and pause/chat and breakdown bits and pause and chat. Your genuine reaction is in yr smiling face, letting the music play and spreading simple joy. Much love from here in Scotland, brother.
While you said Ren was gifted with all the talent in the world he paid a hell of a price for it. Nothing comes from nothing, he's paid his dues in the most hellish way and someday it may feel worth it to him, but that shadow is still present.
@mellanapa, what has colonialism got to do with it you tit? The fact that we all integrate properly and respect the positive aspects of each others cultures and actually glorify them is a great thing. And actually, the British empire was the only empire in history that integrated the different cultures which is why it lasted so long and was so successful.
The most transformative artist of our time, Ren with his Bardcore, harkening back to the days of yore, Bards and Minstrels. The entertainers, storytellers and keepers of lore. The last artist to hit me this hard....Prince.
Just watched your reaction n subscribed, great reaction I enjoyed it, you've got to do Jenny n screech trilogy next dude, got to, then money game oart 1 and 2, theres so many
Great reaction! I've watched so many of his videos that, now I'm just surviving off of reactions. 😊I am looking forward to the 29th (which is his birthday) when he releases his new video!
Yeah, that's kind of weird. Ren is someone whose music really can bring all kinds of people together. Others claim it, he actually does it. Never seen that before.
Love your reaction, check out Ren and Sam Tompkins busking. A great one to check out that not many reactors have done so far is, the busking video of Ren and Sam improvising around Stevie Wonder. 🔥
I love how everything about the reaction, but mostly.. that you said what I think is the most important thing. Appreciate an artist like this while they’re still around! Well said! ❤
I recently discovered that Ren also recorded a cover of “Can't Help Falling In Love (Elvis Cover),” that is simply beautiful. Ren's performances with Sam Tompkins (“Blind Eyed,” “Earned it /Mans World / Falling,” “Walking on the moon/No Diggity,” “Feeling Good/Trouble So High/Masterblaster (Jammin'),” “What Went Wrong” Part I&II), are all great and shouldn't be missed.
Lovely reaction. It was great to see a big smile on your face and you dancing along in your chair. Myself and others have commented previously comparing Ren to Prince. Now those are mighty big shoes to wear - but I think the comparison rings true. He can play multiple instruments: he can write, sing, produce and has a great stage presence. Maybe he isn't quite as polished (yet) as Prince but the potential is sure there to rise to the same heights. It is exciting to understand where he has come from, where he is at now -- and where he might go next. His musicality and talent just shine through.
'what cant you do' indeed. the heavy part of that equation is with the equalsized bag of shit that also got dumped on him, he could so easily do none of these things, no matter how talented he is. life is a mf like that and i believe rens greatest ability is to show up and do it.
As you continue down the Ren rabbit hole, it gets to the point where all you can do is laugh. "What, that too?!" I'm just waiting for the video/song when he starts wailing on a saxophone. And no way I would bet against it.
Great reaction. "The Big Push" (Ren Gill, Gorran Kendall, Romain Axisa, and Glen Chambers) busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are awesome and well worth checking out. All but the drummer sing lead vocals at times. Their other covers like "Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble so Hard," "Watch Out," “Roadhouse Blues,” "My Generation," “Paint It Black,” "An Englishman in New York," “Bongo Bong” are equally awesome. On “These Boots Are Made For Walking,” “Praise You” (Fatboy Slim Cover), “What Kind Of Woman Is This,” all three take a turn singing. The songs "Oh My Woman," “Swan Song,” “Sweet Little Lady," "It's Alright," “Dignity,” and so many others are equally impressive. The band, at least for the time being, performed their last official busking session and gave their last concert in September of last year (2022) due to the fact that Ren was leaving for Canada to undergo specialized medical care and surgeries for his multiple health issues.
And Sympathy For The Devil. Love seeing Ren on bass and Gorran on lead . This band is so tight! Can’t believe that I hadn’t heard of them just a handful of months ago. Here’s to all of those lucky enough to have seen them play- anywhere!
@@JensRandolff Ren is such a gift! And The Big Push is a great band not just because EVERY member possesses great musicianship but because they are able to be a band AND do individual solo work without the Ego ruining their dynamic. When I watch them play I have to remind myself that Ren is struggling physically with the long term after effects of his un/misdiagnosed Lyme. I bought all of their back catalogues on iTunes ( including Chinchilla’s) and am waiting for the physical CD’s of REN’s to be restocked so I can load up on merch.( I’m old school and like to hold the actual piece of music rather than just the digital ones).
@@iamlpinthe312 I agree with everything you said. I have the complete catalog of Ren's and everyone Ren ever played with on both, my Spotify and Pandora playlists.
He beatboxes, mixes music, produces, writes, plays piano, guitar and i think 4 other instruments. Among everything else we already know about. Hes pure genius. :) i love your reactions.
How did u not know about Ren? How did I not know about u til today!! I've been in the Rabbit Hole well over a year so it's made my day to find a new (to me) reactor. Currently burning my way through your Ren playlist snd I love how genuinely excited u are every time! I'm with ya 100%! Our boi NEVER disappoints 🤘 New subscriber and I shared your page on the rabbit hole fans group ❤️ x
Here is a new one for ya, it goes back a ways, not a new Ren song. "Jessica". A much younger Ren... This is REALLY different from what you have recently seen I suspect. ua-cam.com/video/zU_GnJdT_Fk/v-deo.html
Every once in awhile, an artist comes along that doesn't even fit the format of what someone might normally listen to. Sometimes, but rarely, they're so good that it doesn't matter. That would be Ren. Dude had you smilin' big. 😆
Ren certainly wouldn't know how to play the piano while him and Sam sing. That would mean another bag of talent was dumped. ua-cam.com/video/bRkmpKgz4Dk/v-deo.html Great reaction as usual!
Well, talent is not evenly distributed, but who can begrudge Ren. He has fought back against serious physical illness and resulting mental illness, as a result of meds. He had to develop that talent while living in hell for a long time. He is dropping a new video this afternoon. I think that your have to subscribe to his channel to get it today.
I enjoyed every last second of this. Let me know your thoughts. #DreamSquad
He made Bob PROUD! Im SURE he's smilin down!😏✌️🫶💯😎
This was smooth like butter on a bullet.
Me too. Awesome. I love your love of music
Do you think Ren is like Prince musically in his all embracing thing and Shakespeare in his poetic side...high praise indeed!!
They are an incredible band!
I can't get enough of Ren. He's opening doors for people listening to different music and the best part is because he just loves music.
You can tell he loves music and I can appreciate that. I agree 💯 with you
Ren can do it ALL. He is such a gift to this world.
I never get tired of watching this performance it's superb!
Great react, you can tell you had fun with this 😁
The rabbit hole of his music is deep and honestly it's kind of cold once you leave it.
I'm staying down here for a while, there's a lot of good people for company

Haha, I know - I tried a couple times, thinking I'm really going overboard. Nope, back in here less than 24 hours, lol!

I bet Ren can't answer the question, what is it that he can't do? Lol😂😂
I bet standing in that crowd was far better than a stadium performance. Up close and live! Wish I was there.
I def agree 💯
Love the reaction big guy, you just make me smile 🤣👊🏽
Ren is special...no words...Illest of Our Time is amazing
I loved your reaction so much 😂❤
Watch them do What Kind of Woman Is This 😁
All the other street entertainers packed up and went home for the day. These guys hold the crowd so well 👍
Raw and powerful, just directly plugged into the amps...
You need to change your channel name to ‘K-RenTV’ 😂
He is the living embodiment of music bringing fans of all genres together in a time in reality when it's so needed.
