I love fish strikes you can see. I like to throw frogs with the double hook taken out and a single wire weedless hook down. My hookups have improved 3 fold.👍

What rod are you using to throw that glide bait I'm having a hard time finding a rod that'll throw anything over 3oz
This was a Savage Gear Battletek 7'11 Heavy casting rod. Its a flip/pitch rod but worked good for this bait in a kayak. its heavy but has a light tip which helps with the glide bait action.
That was a perfect glide bite pitch and technique working over the tree with thise perfect rod twitches and she absolutely hammered it awesome video

The big wide glides tell me it’s more of a summer thing. Spring would kill too. And fall. Maybe not winter unless you’re somewhere that winter means 60 degrees

What glide bait
this is an old school traditional "glide bait". Not the 2 piece swimbait we call glides today. This is why even when he hits it really hard the bait just goes straight to the side, no blowing out or turning at the end of the twitch. 1 piece.
Glide baits are overpriced jerk baits meant to take your money. Tune a jerk bait right and that act the same but with noise.
