Tip and Overlay - Doing The Other Hand
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 сер 2024
- Hi everyone
I'm going to be showing you how to tip and overlay a nail with your non-dominant hand (AKA, on yourself). This method is a little easier to do on yourself than sculpting out a nail with a form.
Top Tip: pick up your bead with your dominant hand and then use the other hand to apply it to the nail.
We're almost out of archived footage, so new stuff will be coming soon, subscribe for that.
Love Kirsty
XOXO

Big tip for those struggling doing nails with non dominant hand....do those nails first. You have more patience at the beginning. I found it massively helps 😊
Ambidextrous here, makes like so much easier when doing my own nails. I love that you still show people that you struggle even with all the experience you have. Love your videos as well.
Love a non dominant hand video, makes me not feel as bad that mine looks like a toddler has done it lol.
😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 me too!!
I appreciate so much to see a professional do the same things that I do with nail tips. It’s somewhat validating
I have the hardest time when it comes to shaping my nails. I love how you bent your tips. I think this could actually work for me since it will physically show me where and how much I need to cut off 😊
Just bing watching through videos I’ve missed love how u do your acrylic always great video’s xxxxx💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻🥰🥰❤️❤️
Your work is too cool!
I need to thank you real quick. I use polygel, and i love it cause it's not as abrasive, but. I was struggling with it. But, Because of you.. I learned to make a tip out of polygel, learned to pinch, and shape it straight, it came out so Beautifully. I HAVE SO MUCH MORE CONFIDENCE BECAUSE OF YOUR VIDEOS.💞💞💞💞 YOU ARE A Marvel, hope to be as amazing as you. Thanks a million kristy
I dug seeing the sculpted version side by side with the tip nail. There are clear differences, but both are lovely. Really cool, Kirsty! 💜🖤
One of my best tips for working with your non dominant hand is by mimicking how I do things with my dominant hand. It’s still hard, but it does make things a tad bit easier.
Turned out perfect 💅
So excited 🥰💅
Perfection as always Kirsty
Yes!! I have missed seeing videos from you love 💅🏻❤️
Lots of love from Toronto! 🇨🇦
Awesome awesome job as always Kirsty ⭐️⭐️❣️❣️
That is my favorite shape. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
👋 I do the same technique, moving my hand & holding the 💅 file still, it is much easier. Thanks K & A 😻 Sue Ellen from WV 🇺🇸
Love love love x
Looking fabulous and younger than ever! Love your look
Always a pleasure to watch you work. What happened to your part in Naio Nails? You made that channel over 1 million subscribers. Why did you guys part ways?

You’re hold that efile like my kids hold their forks!🤣🤣🤣
Your just so amazing Kirsty with everything you do.. you recently purchased nailchemy products what do you think to them would love to see you review some products as your just the best tyfs🥰
I had my nails done for the first time in decades recently. The overlay is uneven in places, and one nail has a slight bump, caused by the tip being a little to big. She did very little cuticle work, even though they obviously needed work. Most of this I noticed after I got home. My question is, what could I have said while there, that wouldn't upset the technician, yet would give me a good result.
I'm not a professional but I do my own nails and my daughters nails. She has a lot of lifting on her set but my set isn't lifting at all. What am I doing wrong on her nails???
🧡💛💚💙💜
💅😍
Uau
Kristy is there a way to make the polygel base coat thinner? i figured out my issue with it, you see when i use it to put on overlays it doesn't cure correctly but if i use a base coat gel which is a ton thinner it stays.
I HATE doing my right hand, so I always do it first.
Got a new monimer that I've never used before, it's acting like it is SUPER sticky and I'm not thrilled about it at all. Took me nearly three times as long to work with it doing a full set. GRRRR
I have watched you for years and understand the reason for the pinching tool. My question is why don't the nail salons use them?
Minha linda adoro os seus vídeos te acompanho de la do face

I wish I could wear that length they look so beautiful. But I don't have the patience and I bump them everywhere

I believe these videos are old as in pre filmed for her own channel :)
What happened with naio nails
For some reason I do better work with my non-dominant hand, & its the strangest thing!
You keep saying snap chat but you do not post your snap chat. It does say tic tik though.
These vids are from years ago when Kirsty used to use Snapchat.
We Have to support the Kirsty meakin "return".. 🙌👑👑👑Queen
Kirsty, I have to ask, and I don't mean this in a negative way... but if you're changing the shape of the tip so much, why not get different shaped tips? I personally don't like forms; I prefer tips. I buy stilettos and nip off the end for a perfect ballerina shape. Those curved tips are just such a pain!
Bigger tips can be turned into a large variety of shapes using shaping and filing techniques. Uts more cost effective and versatile than buying tips of each specific shape. For personal use though, if you know you like a type of shape, go ahead and use that tip style:)
Pleeease lose the music, it's really distracting 😧
I know I can’t hear what she is saying very clearly because of the music.
@@elainedavies-phillips7964 I know, maybe if enough people mention it Adam may do something about it, here's hoping 😁
Yes, Please lose the music.
Sorry but this stuff is so repetitive that I unsubscribed sorry Kirstie but you’re doing the same thing over and over that we seen for years on other channels your channel I don’t need to see it again
Well, You're gonna miss all of the new videos that start next week!!
