Just a suggestion, I've been stencilling since the 1980's, the reason for lightly pouncing with a stencil brush is to achieve the variation in paint shades. As well, pouncing removes the fear of paint getting on your surface from paint getting under the stencil.
Other than finding all kinds of goodies at dollar tree I absolutely love hobby lobby. They always have the prettiest decor

Favorite "Home Decor" store to shop? What is my style? Oh, my! I really know NOTHING about "Home Decor" and/or "Style" ... I have no sence of it! I do love bargains and I absolutely love what everyone else does to their homes! I am definitely a misfit when it comes to the latest and greatest trends...I do however love to cook, it is my therapy!

Home goods in person & Wayfair on-line. Really enjoyed is DIY.
Being Cherokee Native American related things in my home feels natural and most comfortable. So I guess that's my "theme" Since divorcing I lost a lot of my things to my ex husband but I'm slowly getting things back together. Dollar Store and such us where I mostly shop in person. I LOVE your project. Very creative.

After you asked the question I walked around my house and realized I have diyed so any of the pics on my walls and others I got from yard sells online close around my town lol but I do love dollar tree and ollies for crafts supplies...can't wait to try this diy love this

Love it! It looked like your stencils had a sticky back, using a brush seemed to work very well. As for home decor stores I used to shop at Pier one and home goods a lot until I realized I could make so many look a likes. Great job!!!

Love your channel I love shopping at stores where I can purchase items on sale. My husband just brought down my fall decor from last year and have such beautiful florals, pumpkins and different type of containers I purchased last year after the season was end at 80% off. My fav store for home decor is Cost Plus World Market (my Spirit Animal), then Tres Amigos Furniture (they are next to each other, oh my!). I also love the United Nations store we are lucky enough to have in the Old Pueblo (Tucson, Arizona).

My favorite home stirs is HomeGoods!! We have one opening here soon. Until it opens I have to go about 20 miles. I think it is such a fun store too because it has such a wide selection of items. I love the stencil pictures you did. Haven't seen those stencils and have never seen the flower sacks in any of our stores. Maybe one day one will get them. ? I did not go near a dollar tree today. I had a nice evening with my youngest daughter for my birthday. My brother and his wife stayed with mom so I could go a couple of hours with Glynis. He just changed the time he came today!!
