A month ago, the secret was out that rcmero stunk how to pitch shift and his YTPMVs would be better with pitch shifting. I hope he makes more YTPMVs now this is out.
Usually you want to cut your sound sample from source to start exactly when sound is generated, not when its silent ofr miliseconds then generrates sounds. Yes, you can leave just some miliseconds, not be exact cut on the start of the sound, but you need put into place precisely when the "beat" starts to sund, thats where oyur sample starts. You cut your sound sample where it basically on sony vegas shows almost no "vibration" (the sound is losing its strenght), thats where you cut it. If your sample is shorter than the next beat will sound, just use time stretcher or leave it be, matters if it sounds right with or without it.

Yeah, same. It was annoying considering you cant use "+" and "-" keys if you dont have ENG keyboard enabled. I had my keyboard in my native language set, which changes the keys you push tol ower/higher the pitch into different key, thus couldnt even use them.
hmm... apparently not... whenever I do it it pitch shifts it by an entire octave =( What did you change to make it not skip the other notes on the scale? I have sony vegas 10, any ideas?

It works if you use the + and - keys on the top of your keyboard, not the number pad!

I cannot get this to work on any vegas I have used. Every time I set properties it resets and stays on "none".

if it still doesnt work, right click on the audio of the sample, properties, choose elastique and Efficient
