Going to grad school from your high school bedroom after experiencing undergrad - must be trippy!
Hahaha that is so true!! Trippppyyy
and then when professional work starts, we all miss our school days and dorm dramas.
The zoom university life is definitely a vibe. Love getting to follow you along on yours, it makes the entire experience feel a little less abnormal and lonely somehow
I hope you can get to Taiwan! And congrats on getting yet another degree! Very impressive beautiful lady!!
I love ur videos❤️ ur so inspiring! Taiwan is pretty safe right now. I hope u can still come and try all the beautiful things in Taiwan 🇹🇼
Praying that you'll get to go!!
You look so pretty and confident :D
Really cool video!
Ahhh! I'm early!!!
You are inspiring.
That's good, you'll go to Taïwan. I wish I were you.
We are need you 💙.
Awesome
Hiii love your vids
Hey Tiffany, maybe you could also check out traditional Chinese characters because in Taiwan people use traditional ones rather than simplified ones.
Yes for sure! My school only teaches simplified so I'm starting there.
It is so nice learning Mandarin Chinese. I am also with a tutor. I am doing Integrated Textbook.
Me too!
Hi Tiffany! I am planning to apply to the Huayi Enrichment Scholarship and would appreciate advice on the application - choosing letters of rec and statement of purpose. I hope you get to go in March :)
For recs I'd say pick people who know you well and potentially can speak to your interest in different cultures. If you have a Chinese teacher that's the best person to ask! For statement, it's really just your story - why you want to go to Taiwan and what value you can bring.
@@TiffanyOng Thank you! Which university will you be attending?
Slay Queen!
Dang yeah the border restrictions here have been pretty strict ever since COVID happened. Hope you’ll get to come some time later once situations r safer !
Unrelated but what do you use in your lips? It looks shiny, soft, and natural (no colored tint which I like)... mine are so chappy even though I use lip balms and always keep myself hydrated.
Haha I like Glossier's balm dot calm
@@TiffanyOng thank you! 😍
Wow you are so authentic and real, and the words you speak are magic. Thank you for the soothing moment! Wishing you a blessed New Year 💞🥰❤️ Come by and say hello one of these days, I'd love to show you our latest 😊❤️
Are you at stanford earth? I love their programs
yep!
My... love 💘 😻
Hi Tiffany!
Are you planning to be a software developer or software engineer in China? cheers! :)
No she's more likely pursuing product maganement
some day tell us what became of your app that you developed while you was a undergraduate student.
It was just a class project :)
hey, why u learn simplified Chinese which is not used in Taiwan?
My school only teaches simplified Chinese!
Yeah, that make sense cuz it is easier to learn and more popular around the world. Hope u can go there in March.
Well its just different symbols. 1-to-1 mapping (I think?)
@@owen7666 Strictly speaking, it's a many (traditional) to one (simplified) mapping. But most characters are a 1 to 1 between traditional and simplified
What grad school are u attending?
Stanford if I am not wrong
你很可爱
I think you know little bit of mandarin so in my experience how about you find a person who knows Chinese and talk or chat with that person. That way you can easily practice and it's the best way to practice.
@%6 _y* hey, how'd you suggest to go about continuing to learn chinese after taking classes in school?
@%6 _y* thanks :), i still got one year of class ahead of myself but i want to improve besides / keep going after
Tiffany you look like Chinese from beginning lol
H
School sucks 🙄
