- Quite simply, Diggs is this high on the list because in a league where teams often thrive in the passing game, he is a player that is well-equipped to stop it in its tracks. Diggs is only in his second season with the Cowboys, but the young stud is already making a name for himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the game. He recorded 11 interceptions and two defensive touchdowns last season, both best in the league, and the first of those statistics is what really makes him special. The last time any player had at least 11 interceptions was in 1981, making Diggs’ performance in 2021 truly once in a generation.

Completely negating dudes. Justin Jefferson was a total non-factor in a game where Minnesota was down by multiple scores very quickly. So they would have to be slinging the ball all over the field and STILL Diggs put Jefferson on a milk carton.

That's something the NFL has lacked for a while. The downside, he does get burned from time to time. It's gonna happen. Ballhawks take risks and sometimes they don't pay off.

Fun fact: Trevon was recruited to Alabama as a WR they were loaded at that position so they tried him at CB and he’s been there ever since.

How is Dak not a top 5 QB when Allen who’s viewed as maybe 1 or 2 had a worse season than Dak last year. Playoff wins is a team thing not solo so don’t go there. More yards and TDs than Allen with less ints with the number 1 offense last year but “he trash”😂

He actually didn’t want to play corner but Saban put him there. He said it broke his heart cause he wanted to be a receiver but dude is a stud. His love for being a receiver has made him run routes like a receiver when you watch film on him you can tell he’s going to pick it off as soon as the ball is thrown just by watching his body language. Dude goes “oh that’s my ball” and goes to get it like he’s wide open.
No Trevon was a wide receiver as well but one of his coaches forced him to play corner....I think it was his college coach
Trevon is younger. He was a WR too was converted to CB in college at Alabama so he has only been playing CB a handful of years

As a Cowboys fan he is so fun to watch. He is one of my top 3 favorite players on the team along with Tony Pollard and Micah Parsons(who is just nasty.) I am not sure why people still throw at Diggs. His passes defended this year is definitely his biggest improvement. He is 2nd in that category and QBs have been scared to throw at him. That shows the improvement over the offseason.

The only hit against Diggs is that he gambles all the time trying to jump routes, and it's why he keeps getting thrown at with QB's thinking they can get one passed him. But you hit the nail on the head here Jake, this is a wide receiver playing cornerback

You are proving my point by coming back with numbers like 900 tho. This stat shouldn't even be payed attention to because CBs are not playing man coverage 100% of the time or even close to it. To "track" this stat is SO dumb and a waste of time because you can't even "track" it reliably.

This year he’s been lockdown and still getting ints lol
Alot of people don't realize the cowboys run a lot of zone coverages. The yards given up in a zone go to the closest db. Yea on paper he gave up 900 yards to wrs but what are his man to man stats? This year the cowboys are running a lot of nan coverages and he's been burnt twice in 8 games. Ramsey has given up almost twice as much yards as diggs has this season.
