A lot of people are coming from mtg. Would it be beneficial to some players to have a video that points out the differences between SWU and mtg?
For instance, It took me a long time in SWU to realize I was playing incorrectly by wanting to do value trades with units. If someone primarily plays mtg the idea of attacking face or another unit can seem foreign and the strategy behind it may be lost. I’m still not 100% sure which to do most of the time.
Another example is that, because mtg has been around so long and I play commander, it’s easy to fill the deck with super cheap instant cast removal like Swords. In SWU all removal is situational. It would be very helpful to have a video of someone explaining why Power of the Dark Side is so strong. Like what is it good against? What are its weaknesses? Do you save it for certain cards or is it auto cast on turn two?
Another idea: deck building.
How do you build your decks? What mindset do you have when doing so? Are you building for the curve or value or synergy? I listened to an interview with the Vader blue dude that won the 5k tourney and the way he thought about each unit was very insightful. Being a new SWU player, it would be great to see that perspective from someone that has way more time and knowledge than I do to build decks. Like, is building a deck in mtg different from SWU?
Like I said earlier, keep it up man I like your chill style. Extremely good idea to play games in karabast btw, love it.
One more idea! I watch a pro mtg player LegendVD and love his format. He talks through the deck tech, explaining why each card is in the deck, then plays several games against people in arena, absolutely destroying them. It’s cool because I can get into his mind on why he built the deck the way he did, then actually watch those ideas play out in games.

Also long time Magic player, and as such have a hard time including Upgrades for my own stuff.
I cannot help but use Magic terminology, my pet one is that I call Infernal Four the “Scrye Fighter”.

I’ve taken medal ceremony out of my decks. It’s been decent. Not amazing though.
