With the loan origination business there will be no balance sheet risk anymore. Investors want fixed income investment products and SOFI will be originating those loans like UPST. The risk in SOFI just keeps dropping quarter after quarter with these business model changes that are not difficult to make.
Tyler exactly describes the negative macro economic environment Sofi has recently been in, through wich it gloriously succeeded to grow profitably while competitors were struggling. I really don't understand why he expresses doubt about Sofi's profitability in a similarly challenging macro economic environment that may probably still be many years ahead of us. I think Anthony Noto and Chris Lapointe are doing great because they exactly know what they are doing and still have some unplayed hugely profitable cards up their sleeve.
Congratulations, Matt, on your investment in SOFI. I have been a skeptic for a long time but the company is proving me wrong. That said, I still would not have invested because I am a dividend growth investor in retirement.
In no order: 1) VOO 2) QQQM 3) SCHG/VUG 4) VTI 5) SCHD/DGRO. Personally I put down 1.2m$ on few ETFs, still diversifying. it was this time last year I made my first break through with a liquid 370k. Handed it to a trader here in TX, I get weekly pay out which I put back on long term ETF's. Tesla will be a huge buy for me when the market bottoms.

Great video! I like to believe Sofi will be a great stock for the long term. Hoping in a couple of years from now , it was a worthy investment. Under a new President who does not understand how our economy and government work is a bit scary…his cabinet choices..is also very questionable.. … I believe CEO’s will alway higher and surround themselves with the best and smartest people.. Trump? UM?
Is it correct SoFi deposits are at $24.4 million? Please check transcript 5:25. Thanks.

Of course it can?
Of course I sold off all my sofi about a year ago after being sick of it being dead weight in my portfolio
I am impressed with your update on these stocks, now my question is which is best to buy at this time. I have some liquid assets to diversify.

Yeah, Kathie Daisy Bosco use her name to look her up.
SPY, QQQ, IWM, and currently TLT. I only have 4. Kathie’s firm grows a good portion of my diversification, I live in Connecticut.
