Getting out on the road is what Linda and I love to do with our converted cargo trailer camper. We're part time nomads and the nomadic lifestyle suits us to a Tee. Whether your RV is a camper van, camp trailer, travel trailer, motorhome or just a car and a tent, there's going to be something interesting for you in the videos we produce. Back roads and overlanding are part of what we do while exploring the western states for beautiful, peaceful and sometimes remote places to camp on BLM and National Forest land (public land). Taking care of ourselves as much as possible and doing our own repairs is a must because we travel on a fixed income and a limited budget. If you're into being off-grid and boondocking or doing dispersed camping whenever possible then you'll appreciate the discussions on batteries, solar panels and solar chargers or power stations and 12v refrigeration. Come on along, we're happy to have your company!

"the bike is more capable than I am..." LOL I resemble that remark.
Great review Rick. Thanks.
Thanks for watching this one, Jeff.
I'm very strongly considering grabbing this for basic daily commuting. It does snow around where I love so I figure maybe this will be helpful for when the road is really bad, and since I ride at night the light could help too
I appreciate that you listed several fit and performance likes and dislikes.
Each of us has different riding styles, and we ride in different environments.
I could not full define my preferences until I bought a bike and rode it for a year. With what I liked and didn’t like firmly in mind, I started looking for my next bike.
Thanks for mentioning the great variety of bikes on the market now. I bet that anyone can find a bike which will put the FUN back into riding for them!
I didn't realize there were so many different ebikes. We've never actually looked into them. I really like this one. I feel like it would be the one I'd want. I would want something that would take to trails easily and not have to really worry about it's possible lack of capabilities. The horn cracks me up. It's nice that you actually give them a nice full test out before you give your review.
You should contact me at gonagain21@gmail.com
nice bike, rick..i like it !..that would be the one, i'd buy..thats for the review, ruck..
..Gypsy J van..
U Seem 2 B the E Bike Guru, Good Luck
That's a sweet bike, I use to trail ride so I like that style. It's great to see all these choices that are out there now. GV again guys!
You're going to need a bigger outfit!
@@gonagain my buddy and I are coming up with an idea for a front bike rack.
I am with you a wide seat and cruising. I just got a Valowave Grace Step through and boy do I enjoy that bike. It is not lightweight but you know you’re on a bike.
That one looks really good!
That's the one for me!
I would like fenders to catch dirt and splashes. Just thought I would say. Have a good day 👍
Yep, best not to ride this one in the muck. They do make simple add-on fenders for mountain bikes though.
The saddle. I’m 63 and started riding about 7 years ago. Shortly after starting I ditched the cush saddle for a standard saddle. I eventually went to a Specialized Phenom on the MTB and road bike. They take some getting used to for sure. I might migrate back to a softer saddle some day, but not soon. Enjoyed this one! Take care!
Thanks, Bryan. Keep on riding!
Great review! New subscriber here! Ever since you had Shoestring on as guest. I used to live in Great falls (Malmstrom) the trails along the river there are fantastic! This bike is probably too much meat on the bone for me, to be honest, however, I have considered an E-Bike at some point 😊 I really enjoy your content!
Thank you for subbing! The trailer are close to my house so I get to enjoy them a lot.
I feel lucky to have those trails!
Good revue, have you evaluated a mid drive e-bike, the throttle bikes have restrictions on where you can ride them in my jurisdiction.
I did a review of the Avatar C3 City mid drive and liked it. It's not as easy as a hub drive because you do have to shift it, just as you would a regular multi speed bike, but the quality is excellent. It's not as powerful as others in the market, but I thought it felt the same as a 750watt hub drive.
You've gotta be an ebike expert now! You mentioned 2 you use. Would you do a video on them? Why, pros, cons, etc.
I prefer a Crusier style myself because it's easier for me to ride, and my favorite is the Magicycle Cruiser. My around town bike is the Fiido T1 Cargo.

@@gonagain Thanks! Have you had the Ocelot long enuf for a good comparison?
What about those three wheeled ones with the big cargo basket. Have you seen them? Not exactly made for trail riding.😬
We looked into those for Linda, but they don't suit our travel style very well. Too big.
One of the questions I have that I don't hear people talk about there is so many bikes out there different companies and such. How is warranty work done? Do you file a claim get the parts and do it yourself or do you have to pack it up and send it to a service center
Good question! I'm curious about that too.
You contact the company, and they send the part. Most anything you could do on an ebike is pretty straight forward and easy to do yourself, far easier than boxing it up and shipping it back. I've had few problems with all of the different bikes I've received, one was an incorrectg battery that needed replaced, and several have shown up with a bent derailleur protector (from shipping) that I just needed to pull back in to place. Quality has been very good overall on these bikes.
I need a folding female street/path hybrid that can go up and down the Alps. 220 volt interchangeable adapter/transformer. Wonder if that exists. Probably would cost more than my Audi (sigh!)
I think most of them will charge from 220 volts if you specify where you live. The Engwe EP2 -Pro is a nice bike and they ship to Europe, but you would need to ask them about the charger to make sure they have a 220v one. I know all of the chargers I've seen say on the back: "Input - 110v-240v" so it should be adaptable for your needs.
@@gonagain thanks so much! i will look that one up. :)
Does anyone make a four wheel side by side type electric bike to use with handicap passengers
Hello Poppie, they sure do but I'm not knowledgeable about them.
Would appear you’re getting an abundance of peddle exercise nowadays. 🚴
I could stand more.😊
Another e bike ! I’ve been seeing more E bikes on the rail trails here in Fl the last few years!! It’s almost becoming dangerous for us cyclists! Most times people are going way too fast !! I guess they are the new trend ! I will stick to peddling ! Just me . Thanks for your review Rick ! 👍
I hear you Ralph, but it's not an ebike problem, it's a rider problem. Some people are just jerks.
@@gonagain
Very true !! The nut behind the wheel!! Lol 👍😁
Magicycle is my choice, but the more we learn about these other cool e-bikes the better. And thanks to your indepth reviews, we get a good look at the differences between them. Also, that Honda trail bike is looking better by the hour. Maybe have Both??? The jury is Still Out. 🤔 Another Good Review Rick. Thanks. (getting Colder up there??? Still 87 and Perfect here) Expect another package by weeks end. God Bless. 🙂
Thanks, Vencenzo. That Honda is hard to pass up.....starting to get cooler up north with the trees putting on a show. Wind has a bite to it but the days are bright and clear. 87 sounds perfect to Linda.
