Looks great and having been down that road I also needed to grind off the screw that holds the front fender trim on the underside so it didn’t rub the tire. 21 fits it well!
That wheel looks great. Really goes with the chrome on the evo Road King. I think I'm going to ride my 97 across the border to Sturgis SD next summer. It's an 800 km ride. I bet that 21 inch wheel would roll very stable down the road.
Thanks mate, I have a 2018 cvo road glide as well, but this old road king rides nicer than it. I don’t know what it is but it is just so smooth, like an old Cadillac
@@TheHarleyRoadshow I’m Canadian. Live in Saskatchewan north of the Montana border to the US. My bike has 22,000 km because it’s to cold to ride 8 months of the year. You’ve done well to yours it’s a fine piece. Show bike.
I just like to know now that you had the 21” installed has she drop on you on slow turn or at a stop with the steering turned? Thank you for that great video.
It looks bloody fantastic. I think there's a couple companies that make a narrow front fender to accommodate your new rim. Elaine has one question. Will it make it to a bakery? She's all in! 😂
@@IvanMorales-nm7hn I just used a piece of pipe I had laying around that fitted over the axel, lined it up, made sure the brake calliper was lined up measured and cut
I forgot to add I also have a 2013 Road King special with the front spoke white wall wheel. I had experience 3 drops. I suspect it has to do with the 21” front height that is affecting the balance. I will exchange the 21” to a 17” with the same style front wheel. Anyone? Please what’s your take on this?
Hi mate, the only way to do it is to put the wheel on and make sure it’s running free with the callipers installed and then measure each side, both sides will be different, then cut to size and install
She's looking gr8. That smile that Harley and its customizations put on your face is priceless. No wonder we live longer.
True👍🙏
great opening music very fitting and great to see your happy smiling face just like an exited kid... great Vlog mate
Thanks mate

Looks unreal with the new front wheel, shiny things make me feel happy😅 your doing an awesome job of it Paul.
Cheers mate, having a lot of fun doing it
Got the same wheel and discs on mine, love the look on my 2001 Road King. And it looks great on yours too mate, can't beat a sweet Road King
Thanks mate, have to agree, I love this thing

@ we’re lucky here, we ride year round, thanks, still need to do a couple of things to it but I’m happy how it’s come out
Coming along very nicely! Bring on the Nationals in December 👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks mate
That wheel looks bloody amazing and I really like the channel art on your seat. Hope you guys are well.
Going great mate, yep really enjoying this one
Looks sharp. Like the direction you are going with it.

Bike is coming along great man. You should get some dirty bird upswept fishtail man.....those things sound crazy good.
Pipes coming soon
Absolutely love the wheel! Next video could be how to clean them!
Lol, chrome polish and elbow grease and a good Spotify playlist
Great looking bike! Changing to 21/16 this coming weekend. What lens covers are you using for your front end? I can't seem to find them anywhere.
They are called turbines from cuztom Kraft
@@TheHarleyRoadshow thought so! Bit out of my price range but look awesome.
What bearings did you use to get the 21 inch rim to work I’m currently having this issue
your bike looks amazing 👏 what size ape bars , and did you run your wires outside of them?
Cheers mate, bars are 18 inch factory 47, ran the wires internally
I just like to know now that you had the 21” installed has she drop on you on slow turn or at a stop with the steering turned?
Thank you for that great video.
Rides great, turn’s great, hasn’t changed anything, hope this helps, thanks for watching
What size is that tire? Just bought the same wheel but can’t find the right size anywhere
Quite a big change, from just changing a front wheel. Bike looks fantastic.....
Cheers mate, plenty still to do
I have the same bike, same year I'm putting a 21" before spring.
They look great with them on 👌
Looks nice..Watch the rust mate..Nothing made like it use to be.. ask boys at Aussie Vicla what they use....
Thanks mate will do
How did you fit the calipers with a wider wheel ?I have a 96 too and can't figure out !?
You need to make up some spacers
Nice looks awesome brother 😊
Thanks mate appreciate it
Beautiful Bike M8, Enjoy Cleaning that Cracka Wheel
@@Daryll-gc1eg cheers mate, it’s therapeutic 😂
Looks awesome!
Cheers thanks
Looks sweet brother ! nice choice
Thanks mate appreciate it
Nice look Paul, must catch up and have a comparo, how much does it change the rake? With my 02 RoadKing, I have an 18" front and lifted Fatboy guard.
Rake stays the same, if you go to a 23inch wheel then you need to change the rake, as is it rides really well
Bike looks amazing! Now if I buy it from you will you ship it to the US? How does the bike handle with a bigger tire? Ride Safe
Thanks mate, can you imagine the postage🤔, rides great
It looks dope but how much did it change the ride?
Not at all, rides beautifully
where do I get white wall tires for my roadking? anyone can help please..
Shinko make them, Dunlop, just order them from your local tyre supplier
thanks @@TheHarleyRoadshow
@@Aamarafi welcome mate
Awesome bike and a great upgrade 👍😎
What this the change in the seat height?
Thanks mate, seat height changes slightly but not noticeable
Looking good, do you think you'll do a print job?
Thanks, do you mean paint job? Yes I’ll be getting paint done as well
What size tire?
I’m trying to find a wheel spacer for my 21” softail 2005 deluxe
Looking good mate … oh and the bike is too 😂
Lol, thanks mate

Cheers mate, I’m a lucky boy
Wheel looks great, love the Evo era.
Thanks mate
Not much into laced wheels but Paul I like this look
Thanks mate
Fantastic😎 Gangster 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks mate
What size of spacer did you use and what size of bearing are on there and size of 25 or 3/4
Hi mate, 3/4 bearing and the spacer I just cut to size once I had it all lined up
@@TheHarleyRoadshow do you remember the dimensions and what spacer did you use to cut
Did your spacer cover the rim hub and sit flushed on the bearing
@@IvanMorales-nm7hn I just used a piece of pipe I had laying around that fitted over the axel, lined it up, made sure the brake calliper was lined up measured and cut
Great idea, lower unsprung weight equals better ride and handling.

Wow looks good

I always liked the gas tank decal on road kings
Yeah they look good
Hey, your Bike looks amazing, how big are your Spacers each side ? Greetings from Germany
Hi mate, the only way to do it is to put the wheel on and make sure it’s running free with the callipers installed and then measure each side, both sides will be different, then cut to size and install
Looks good mate. How did it affect the bikes handling?
Thanks mate, really hasn’t made any difference
SCHWEET !!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Normally not a fan of those thick spoked wheels but I must admit it looks hectic on your bike. 👍
Thanks mate
Yes! The fat spokes look great
Thanks mate
Wow. Doesn’t that look fantastic. ❤
Thanks Annie, very happy so far
not gonna lie, the bike is coming along very well, looking very smick as stated.
Thanks mate, appreciate it 🙏
Mmmm, HogLights 👌
They’re pretty bloody good mate
