Thanks professor! I've always wondered why I get bitten much more than my friends
It's so strange that I'm searching for a video about mosquitoes and find it here shared by staffordshire university as i have applied for admission to Staffordshire,, feeling so pleased to see that.
Hopefully when you graduate from this university you will be able to eloquently explain why many people get bitten much more than others eloquently. as well as giving a proper method or solution or even medical professional that can help with this issue issue…
Lots of talking to provide no helpful information.
so basically I smell better than everyone else
From personal experience, I've found that mosquitos are more likely to bite me if I've been drinking alcohol. Also they seem to be attracted to darker colour clothes, and can bite right through thin fabrics.
"Depends on where you're from, the lifestyle that you lead, a genetic component, something related to the immune system, mosquitoes detect the odors and base their choices upon that."
Okay but what are the features of the attractive microbiomes? Why are they attractive to mosquitoes? What type of lifestyle choices and which geographic locations? What immune factors?
I feel like I'm left with a lot more questions than answers tbh.
Edit: don't know if this necessarily accurate, but it's more informative

Based on personal experiences, the healthier you are, the more nutrious your blood is, the higher chance mosquitoes are attracted to you
Mosquitoes love me too much! I have a garden and always have to put bug spray on. Over the years, what I have found is that mosquitoes bite me in areas of my body that are already hurt or injured area - like my peroneal tendon outside my ankle (same place all the time) that I injured years ago or on my neck area where it is super tight almost rock like consistency. Does anyone care to know why or know why this happens to me?
And... I know nothing more than I did 2 minutes ago!
Typical whitecoat. Lots of rambling but nothing definitive.
Doesn't understand slightly complex speech = "he's just rambling"
@@tino8015 inaccurate observation. This white coat is literally spewing diarrhea from his anterior opening.
@@tino8015brother, I'm a nuclear operator and the gentleman before you is right. He didn't provide an actual explanation. If it ain't an hour long then it's not a good lecture.
Very rare is the human who can say, “I don’t know.”
@@tino8015he took 2 minutes to say “skin microbiom” 😂😂😂 he didnt say nothin
What he saying?
I have no clue.
could anyone explain this?
Basically, he doesn’t know how to help anyone. He just knows why it happens.
25 test the limits of our patience.
May be this may be that. How fascinating.
Lol right? A complete non answer
They bite my wife and son all over while I get none. They don't bite me at all. Can't remember when a mosquito ever bit me.

Yeah, thanks that helped me alot 🙄
Where’s the answer? Wtf?
Very good explanation. I have AB positive blood and they say they flock after type O. I get swarmed in the summer so this must be why they bite me so much. Thanks doctor! 👍
