That's pretty freaking close. I'm ordering one of these next $$$ day.
Good comparison. You definitely nailed part of what I love about the triple Rec - the balance between tightness and flubbiness. I don't think the pedal totally nails the amp, but still seems like it could be a great backup.
good to see you on youtube land! Yeah the pedal isn't perfect but damn it is VERY close. I would have no issues having it as a backup if I have a good power amp with me
Thanks for boosting your recto with the SD-1! I love that pedal so damn much.
Same man, sd-1, EH soul food, and Plumes OD for me
Great comparison!
Would love to see a shootout between a TC El Dual Wreck and a Wampler Triple Wreck!
Hell yea dude ⚡️
Right?!?!
I have had that pedal pretty much when it first came out. The price alone, I thought, sure why not. I have pedals cost twice as much as that one, and I ended up hating them. But that pedal is definitely worth it. Great riffing, by the way.
Thanks man! So you have tried the other tc electronic ampwork pedals? I was wondering if I should get some of the others on the channel to compare to the real amps or not. This pedal def does justice to the Rec.
@DeathMetalDevin I have the v550, and it does the thing. It sounds close to a 5015. I want to try the Jim's 800 with a over drive, and see if it can get some metal tones out of it. I like taking amps like an OR50 that is not a metal amp but putting a modern overdrive in front and getting it into that metal sound. Overdrive pedals we I was growing up were not this aggressive. So it's fun to re visit older amps and hit the front-end and see what you get. I put a Mr. Scary Hot mod in my OR50, and now it has plenty of gain. Sounds very unique.
well. ok enough. remember flashback ii ? we might have hit peak tech there. mashswitch, beaming presets in thru the pickup… since then mostly evolution and boring onedimensional pedals from tc. whatever happene after behringer took them over? hope their paying well at least. nice riffing!
That was a great comparison, wonder how the synergy drect would do in comparison against these two.
I'd be interested as well as I do have a Synergy setup
É possível usar as duas saídas em simultâneo?
Do you know any pedal that does the same for orange amps? i really want that high gain orange tone on my board lol
Yes, the Tonex!!!! All day
@@DeathMetalDevin Is it THAT good? I'm selling my GE300 lite because i didnt like the reverb and delay haha. but amp sim is a beast is really good...
@@edneyhelenedossantos1875 For amp capturing it is phenomenal. I would bet that my tonex capture would sound closer to a real mesa then this pedal would.
@@DeathMetalDevin Nice i may do it, what about reverb and chorus on tonex, are these also good?
Yes pretty dam close but remember one is tube other solid State different harmonic structure
oh for sure, def in consideration while doing this comparison which is why its crazy how close it is
So it's a huge rip off of the Wampler Triple Wreck that's been out for over a decade. Got it
I've heard of that one. Never tried it. But would be cool to compare
