- I paid £158 for this faulty device from a viewer. Are we able to fix it and sell it on eBay for a profit?

Joey can I send you some sega genesis or ps1’s?……….. the profit margin is equal or more….. and your audience can learn something new
Had me so excited with that box. Ohh! faulty AMS! Nope. Still a great video.
Joey ive been watching your videos from the beginning. Working on electronics has been something I have been fascinated with trying. So I went out and bought a kit and attempted my first repair the other day on an XBox One S. The HDMI port seemed to be loose so I ordered a new one up as well as some coated wire in case I needed to do some trace repair. Thankfully it was just the port. After I soldered it back on it was in to the test. With amazement the Xbox launch screen came up! Thank you for inspiring me to try this and find something I truly love doing. Much respect from Cananda.
Love this Rogue, well done for giving it a go! Glad you've found something you love doing. Please keep me updated on the journey! :)
Those dang 1p caps are an engineers nightmare
Hey, Joey! I know you have a list in your video descriptions of the tools you use. I was wondering what mount you are using for your AD407? It looks like you have an articulating arm, and I would be interested to know which one you're using and if you recommend it. Very much appreciated! Love the videos, man! Keep up the great content!
If you didnt watched yet search "Joey does tech room tour". You can see the the arm there. Its a vesa monitor arm and he uses a 3d printed adaptor for the microscope.
Struggle to understand how Joey would buy a dead PS5 for 2/3rds the cost of a fully working one. Content of course however I think a lot of the spreadsheet struggles are due to paying too much for dead parts. In real life you would be more patient and only buy the ones that are cheaper and a likely fix.
Will you add the profit from the ps5 you fixed on the live the other day? (the one with the faulty psu)
Great fix again joey! I have a couple of bits to fix you might be interested in if you want to get in touch🤝🏼
Hi joey
Do you do controllers I have quite a few with stick drift and 2 elite series 2 (one stick drift one with a broken right stick) I also have a forza horizon series x controller with stick drift
Willing to sell then cheap as they just sit here and I love your content
Hey Joey, what are you using for injection? Thx!
I've got a PS3 that doesn't turn on, if you can help? lol
It would have been nice to take the uart code and update the data base with your findings
JDT for the Win! Great Repair and Video! Thanks. 😀
"I'm not counting my Turkeys"
Love this short-hunting, great fix Joey 👍🏻
Joey the "Throw for the content" kinda guy.
13:35 What does he mean?
why would you get more money if the software was NOT updated?
It’s classified as a Homebrew ps5. Gives you a chance to jailbreak
Thankfully Turkeys weren't counted! That's why you got a Golden Gobbler!
Nice one!🤝🏻
Lets goooo i hope you dont get a profit today (havent watched yet) as i dont want the series to end as it will when you reach 1000 😂😂
Got a xbox series s if you fancy a challenge no power Hdmi port broken and no ssd ;)
Join the Discord !! We're having a great laugh there plus with behind the scenes ;) banana !!

very brave man injecting voltage directly onto isopropyl 😅

Nice fix. I cant help but wonder about the no-fix with the random shut down. In the PC space this can happen with a faulty PSU (not delivering enough power but working). Did you try swapping out the PSU "just to be sure"?
Fixed in live stream and it was PSU not delivering enough power.
@@heatedgamer2931 thanks for that. Good to know that my hunch was right and it got fixed.
Nice job, nice fix, great content, thank you for sharing this fixes, and this knowledge with us.
I would have not been too happy with removed ssd
the main SSD is soldered onto the board, that NVMe slot is for additional storage expansion.
@@TheSpotify95 ahhhh thanks mate
think you need to get tshirt printed with pain but content :P
Nice result I thought it was going be an apu fault
Top work
Well done joey nice fix and profit
What thermal camera do you use please Joey 🫡
RUN RABBIT RUN RABBIT RUN RUN RUN
Let's goooo! PEAS
Nice job.
Does a newer version of software devalue them?
I'm guessing that old ps5s on old firmware are exploitable.
Looks like the viewer has changed hobbies from gaming to 3d printing. I highly support that decision 😊
i did the same lol
This channel should rename to "PS5 Repairs".
I’m always seeing people working on a ps5 or should I say pos5. I’ve had both first gen consoles with no problems yet but I rarely use the ps bc I’m afraid it’ll go dead.
3 episodes time your profit is guaranteed to be 'nice'
Port next to power connection is crooked as heck.
I thought the same but if you look closely its just the foam pad on top that crooked 😅
Huh, the capacitor had the color of an inductor. Did you put it there so it will look like you repaired something?
