the swift 3 at home has 4gb ram a ssd m.2 slot and a space for a sata 2.5'' hard drive also it has 1 fan and a 2021 model what years this one ours has a light up keyboard and amd chipset i like yours better looks way more staunch inside can i put that cooling in our one if i get it somewhere

Definitely not. On the left there, that's a connector for the cable connecting the IO daughterboard to the main motherboard. They're right in saying there's only one M.2 NVMe slot.

Yes. I just installed a 2TB drive in the location shown in the video and moved the existing 500GB to the slot under the cable. Both drives function normally.
@@entique4216 i got a 2021 swift 3 here im going to check it out i know it has a sata 2.5 bay and m.2 ssd in it ..its identical lookinig to this one on the video though

Hi, unfortunately, there is only one SSD slot on this laptop.
@@LaptopMedia why don't you say if the slot is Gen3 or Gen4? (edit: I see in the SSD image it's Gen4 so just say it)
And really you should say on all your reviews what the CPU is! Can't believe you guys always omit this most important thing. Commenting about the heat pipe but not the CPU makes no sense at all IMO.
@@LaptopMedia Remove the cable between the mainboard and the "island" board, there will be a 2nd ssd slot underneath, at least the Chinese version has such a 2nd ssd slot!
@@bbaker6212 Because the same laptop model often comes with different CPU's in different configurations. But cooling and design is the same.
@@bbaker6212 intel 12th gen supports gen 4 storage directly to the CPU, so I would bet money that it's a gen 4 slot.

Its weird, on the specs website for the one i bought its this same layout but the specs say it has 2 m.2 drives....it only has one as i just found out by taking it apart and coming here to make sure i wasnt blind and missing it...
It has two. The maker of this video missed it as well. It is under the wide ribbon cable from the motherboard to the upper-left daughterboard.
Just saw this reply, so u are correct but when i inserted another M.2 drive the pc would BSOD saying something about boot drive not present, i didnt format the m.2 i just inserted but not sure the slot is fully functional, i might try moving the other M.2 drive into that slot that is the main HD and see what happens but have u done this and made it work? I plugged in the drive while it was already booted and it didnt show up nor did it show up in disk managment @@tid418

This model is so boring, there's not much room for upgradeability and/or repairability even at least for the ram. . . .
