Thanks for this. I bought an Allied setup for my cart and they acted like the G29 was never done before with a big battery lithium swap. This helps greatly.
I like the yamaha carts and you see them a lot in florida and they may be as popular or even more popular then club cars and others in that area. I Have been looking for a gas cart in SW missouri , but even a junk 1990 s electric goes for 1500 in my area with worn out batteries and other issues, so I am online daily looking for a decent rebuildable gas or electric in my area ,but they are definately hard to find here ,they are usually total junk and not worth rebuilding or just not a good deal
Enjoy your videos very much. I just bought a 2014 Yamaha G 29 with 6x 8volt batteries. Will Big Battery Falcon Elite, 1 battery 61amh be ok for odd round of golf and running around the neighborhood?
@@geoffreyshaffer8560 with a voltage reducer. I plan on doing a video on that soon, but I can give you a link to a video where I show it on a different cart
Is the Falcon Elite, 1 battery, 61amh that you installed, more than enough for short commute to course, 18 hole round and return home. I don't need 36 holes in one day or any long distance 30 or 40 mile like some of these guys and their videos. I just want to get the right package for my 2015 EZGO RXV. Thx
Correct single battery falcon elite… don’t forget to use my promo code “stege10” and save yourself some money at checkout. And yes!! Should get 15-20 miles easy.
Hey Kevin... I missed this one...great video. I have a question for ya.... Question: I have a stock Yamaha G29 (new) controller with a stock motor. Do you think 1-48v Falcon Elite battery can get 20mls on a charge with 4 grown adults and soundbar on AND without tripping the BMS? Thank you....
I'm new to all this so apologize for the dumb questions. But I have a Yamaha 36v. How many batteries of the falcon elite would I need if I was taking me and my daughter around and want the cart to last for an hour or more?

@@kartkrazy Thanks I have kids and don't want to up the speed too much but love the range and no battery water. Do you know if lithium will pull harder up hills?
@@kartkrazy agree, I rewatched your video, very helpful btw. Which posts did you get, just any posts for a connector? Was going to run to auto parts or maybe Amazon.

Nice job Jeff.

It’s my favorite set up

If you install one big battery (Falcon) or 2 smaller batteries (Eagle), how do I connect my headlights/taillights?

Great video! Is this the Falcon Elite series battery? If not, which series is it? Model # if you remember. Thanks!
Yes Falcon Elite

The falcon elite is a 48 V… You would need a raptor 2 from bigbattery.com which is a 36 V or a gator max.

I’m looking to do the same to my Yamaha. It’s a 19 drive 2 dc model. Does it matter being dc/ac for lithium swap.
Does not matter. Use my promo code “stege10” at checkout 😎👍🏻
Awesome I will! Thank you for the quick reply!
What did you do with the wire from the charge port to the motor controller?
I did not use any of the factory charging port
I just used the BigBattery charger
@@kartkrazy so what did you do with the wire that goes from the existing charge port to the motor controller?
Just left it alone
Can you tell me how much the speed increases on a G29 just from the battery swap?
2-3 mph
@@kartkrazy Thanks I have kids and don't want to up the speed too much but love the range and no battery water. Do you know if lithium will pull harder up hills?
@user-sj5qk9en3j yes… Lithium has little to no power loss on hills unless you’re extremely overloaded or an extremely steep hill
Hi, does the battery meter stay on 24/7?
It does… I usually shut the battery down if it’s sitting for five or more days
Doing same upgrade. Do I need the posts for the pod/neg cable or can I just get longer cables from solinoid.
I recommend adding posts. Much safer and less chance of something going wrong.

@@bjbrunetti just some random studs off of Amazon but auto parts store should have them as well
