I watched several other videos on using puff vinyl and yours in the most comprehensive with extra helpful tips--especially regarding the difference in carrier sheets between brands (the carrier sheets are not universally the shiny side which other videos fail to know and/or mention) and your troubleshooting solutions to get the perfect puff. The relatively short time to watch all your info is a bonus!

girll..... thank u so much for specifying that shiny can be either top or bottom depending on what type of puff it is. the instructions inside my vinyl were wrong and i thought i was going. crazy... i watched a bunch of videos on youtube and they all said shiny side down. finally i found yours, i seriously thought i was being gaslit lol
You will heat one layer at a time, but the puff vinyl needs to be the last layer that you do. You can not heat press the puff vinyl once it’s applied. You can use parchment paper in between presses.
Does puff vinyl require that we also flip the shirt inside out and press from the other side, or does that overheat it? Just want to make sure I get it nicely adhered to the fabric.
Hi. I did three shirts yesterday with Hobby Lobby puff htv. The first shirt turned out great with the color blue. On the next two shirts (same type of shirts), the puff wrinkled and pulled up. The puff htv was the same brand, but two different colors, pink and yellow. I used the same temperature and time on my heat press. Any ideas of what could have happened. I think these two shirts are ruined as it left a colored residue under where the letters were on the shirts. I'm wondering if the pink and yellow rolls of puff htv are bad. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!
Are you doing the same design with both colors? I noticed that thinner designs don’t need as much time as he thicker designs. Also, different color shirts can be more heat sensitive than others even if made out is the same material so that could also be the issue.
They were three different designs, but they had about the same size lettering. The shirts were three different colors. Thanks for your quick response.@@SVGNationGraphics
It works either way 😀 I’ve used the puff with brand new shirts and older shirts we already had that were washed and there was no difference. If you use fabric softener, that could affect it.

You do need to mirror this. Anytime you use iron on vinyl, you will need to mirror first.

What setting did you use for the easypress mini?
Do you have to use a specific font? Will a close together cursive show up or look like a big blob?
Bolder fonts tend to do better. I've tried a thin cursive and I was able to peel it off which is not good.

For a cotton/poly blend, I recommend 290 degrees for 15 seconds

No need to flip the shirt over, this will overheat it.

Try adding more pressure to your settings before cutting.
