Hey Leasa! After making this video I learned from a viewer that different brands do it different ways so make sure you read your instructions depending on brand you purchase. Thanks for the note and happy crafting! 💕
Thanks for the tips. One thing to note, which side you put down depends on the brand, my puff htv still requires the shiny side to go down. Great video! Oh and also mine is a cool peel. Just throwing it out there for anyone that doesn’t get one of the big brands.
Hey great video. I think I had user error with my first time with puff. I embroider it like an appliqué then ironed it in good. I was using black glitter. I loved the look of the shirt but my black turned grey and weird texture. I didn’t mean to get puff. But once I did I was excited to see it puff and be dimensional. I’ll try some samples using your tips.
Thanks so much for crafting with me Natalie! I hope some of these tips work for you. Puff is all about temp and PRESSURE! Pressure is so important so that it doesn't look like little worms.🩷 Happy crafting!
It really depends on your sweatshirt and if you're wearing it true to size or like the large oversize trend. I would measure the chest of the sweatshirt I'm using, and then determine what width I wanted the word to be. When you size it to that length in Cricut Design Space it will auto adjust the height. I hope that helps and thanks for crafting with me! 💕
Thank you so much for crafting with me! As for using an iron, I've never tried it. The key with puff is pressure and a consistent heat. If I tried it, I would make a test project, with no steam and as much pressure as I could apply. If you try it, let me know! 🩷
@@KimByers I tried it with an iron. I wasn’t able to get the right temperature. It was either too hot or not hot enough. In the later , the heat didn’t distribute evenly. I got some puff with some sections not sticking to the fabric.
Hey Debbie! You'll need to download it to your computer and upload it to Cricut. If you're not familiar with the process of uploading designs to Design Space, it's pretty easy. Open the app on your computer, open a new canvas and you'll see the "upload" button in the left navigation. Thanks so much for crafting with me! 🩷
Hi!! I am looking into getting an embroidery machine for shirts, I know you mostly do Cricut machines, but, didn’t know if you had an insight on a few good machines?
Hi Valeri! Yes, puff was pretty new when I created this video. Different brands are now different, which is unfortunate. I wish all brands would have been consistent. I posted a UPDATE note in the comments to try and help. I hope it didn't waste too much of your material.
Hi Tisha! Check your material selection. You may need to use a small piece and adjust your pressure. You could cut a small heart until you get it correct. Since there is no Cricut brand yet, there is no exact setting in Design Space. Best of luck and thanks for watching!
best video I have seen about this topic!!! THANK YOU !!!!
Thank you so very much Linette! 🩷

Oh good note everyone from Ariana! Read your puff vinyl brand instructions. Thanks so much for crafting with me Ariana and for pointing that out! 💕

Great video! I love the mama design, I tried to sign up for the mama cut file but the link never popped up, is it no longer available?
Hey Villy! It is still available and it would have come right after you signed up, maybe in a separate email. If you're still interested let me know.
@ ohhh ok, awww I think I missed it somehow.
I would definitely love to still get it, if it’s possible? I love the mama font!
What size do you make the the mama letter for the sweater.

Amazing!!! Can you tell me please what machine for cutting are you using? Thank you!!
I have the Cricut Joy, Explore 3 and Maker. All of the Cricut machines will cut puff. Thanks for crafting with me!! See you in the next one! 🩷
Hi, great video. I was wondering if I can use a regular iron? TIA

@@sapitabonita1 I’m so sorry! I was afraid that would be exactly the case. Puff really needs that exact heat and pressure. 🥺😩
Thank you so much!!
You’re welcome! Happy crafting!
howdo I get the file ? its huge but know way to get it to cricut machine

Hey Jodee! That is one machine that I'm not familiar with. I hope you find what you're looking for and thanks for watching! 💕
I put the shiny side up and it cut the transfer paper instead !

Where did you find your font?
This particular font is a varsity style font called Yearbook, but there are tons of them out there. :) Happy crafting!
I bought the Make Market brand. The instructions say carrier sheet side down.
Yes. Super important to read your brand instructions. Thanks so much for sharing and for crafting with me!
I put shiny side down :( i was getting so discouraged. Thank you
So glad it all came together! 🩷

My puff keep cutting all the way through
