I have purchased Prepared and started expanding my knowledge on resillience or preparedness allowing me to assist my shop customers. Knowledge is power and power is winning.

I was in New Orleans when Katrina hit. The water, the Superdome, and the People who went into survival mode. It showed Me how some " tuff guys" turned out to be fearful and panicky, and regular Guys stood up.
Nailed it, Mike. “The Comfort Crisis” is an excellent book that deep dives into much of this, good read and a good complement to this group of concepts.
Excellent topic. You are the first person I have heard discuss "resiliency", the ability to quickly bounce back when confronted with adversity or a traumatic event. Many preppers are not resilient.even though resourceful. Thank you again.
Thank you. I have lived in my car for extended periods. Incredible prep for organization, resilliance and vigilance. I never considered myself homeless because there was an end game. Amazing skill set developed on doing that successfully.
Agree with what you are saying 100%! I do not hear other preppers talking about this a lot. What I would add to this is resilience when it comes to problem solving and dealing with people. This is different from physical resilience but important. Having a strategic mindset and not being reactive or emotional when making decisions.
I have been a outdoorsy type and a prepper at times. I took away a lot and reconsidered my mindset and complacency in a lot of way here. OUTSTANDING Content!
So well laid out and verbalized..... mindset is the ignition to a car. The car cannot be what it is meant to be without being started first. Awesome job
your message is resonating with me. Where my comfort level in the outdoors is second nature to me and strong, I have been doubting my abilities since my heart stints and femoral artery by-pass surgeries. I prefer the out doors because of the freedom from schedules, time, and routines. Just the basics, fire, food, shelter and all day to do it.
Good one big Mike, hit ta nail on the head with that one.time to reflect on my mindset when challenges arise .when SF speaks grunts listen.Big THANKS from ta high desert.
Thank you for your videos. I find myself re listening to them when I'm on the road and reevaluating my life and preparedness. Seems like a constant evolution of self which I enjoy.
Thank you so very much, Mike for all of your service to this country. You are indeed an inspiration. You have the best uTube information I have come across! I hope to attend one of your courses. 🇺🇸🇺🇸💪🏻
I have always kept emergency/first aid kits in my vehicle and classroom but have done some serious upgrades to them after following his content. Excellent advice, as always.
I appreciate the value of this video, Mike. I can tell you are trying to help and be on the right side of history. Praying with and for you, Brother. - CH
I'm laughing to myself! This was something I was taught 40 years ago, in a lifestyle similar though not as intense as yours. But the principle is the same! Thank you for reminding me, 1) why I'm a little different than some friends, and 2)that I need some refresher training! Thanks!
Really great! Inspires me to focus more on being prepared and using your awesome resource to do so. It's always been saying that kicked around in my world and it's this. To be aware is to be alive"
You are fucken awesome!!! This is confirmation for me. Building new neural pathways to overlap the old none resilient ones. new character traits, new habits. Fake it until you make. That’s how I did it. I guarantee you’ll like your new self. That way when trouble does come, your new hardened self has a better chance in surviving. Good luck, and for Christ sake, get out of your comfort zone. Carry on 😉
The prep is what stressed me out, I over prep, as for the moment of incident, when I was in Afghanistan I reacted quick, super quick then mild panic / surprise for 20 seconds followed by a drug like euphoria for 12 hours after. Mind you a grenade blowing up 6ft away will do that.
When you're camping and feeling at your absolute lowest it's important to laugh about it. The first night ALWAYS sucks. You didn't prepare, you forgot something, you didn't consider the following. When you laugh about how awful it is it makes it manageable. Also, remember what sucked so you can fix it the next nighy
this really an amazing sharing session!! somehow I tend to ignore that mindset is not that important but after hearing this, this really blowin up my mind.
As an older female I just realized that my comfort zone is freaking huge, lol. Go elk hunting for 2 weeks with pack horses. You will get resilient fast or you’ll never go again. I wish I could live in elk camp.

Ive grown to hate my phone for the 100 to 300 text messages I get a day because no one in my damn unit can do a fucking thing for themselves! Oh and that insult to injury, being considered the oddball of the group because you can handle yourself and get the mission done without any of these people! THATS stress
