This is the most famous game in the Alex Kidd series, due in no small part to frequently being bundled with the Master System (and being built in to some versions of the console).
In this game, Alex Kidd discovers he is the prince of Radaxian, and his father, the king, has been kidnapped, allowing the tyrant Janken to claim power. This is an improvement of 02:41.47 over the previous run due to the use of new glitches, and other optimizations.

The underwater music is one my favorite childhood memories. Also I wish that there were UA-cam videos that explain the glitches. For every glitch in a Mario game, there is like 50 videos explaining it.

if you do it too soon, you waste time and have to wait another frame

The Korean version has instant text. (You don't need to understand Korean to play the Korean version)
The built-in versions in the west replace onigiri with burgers.

I just love a good mixed up tas that messes up the game completely, of a half decent and difficult game as this one. Very nice job.
And "martial arts" must be the biggest overstatement in any game ever. Using a hand the size of a wooden club to bludgeon everything in one's path is not martial arts.

why are there graphical glitches sometimes?
Graphical errors were common back in the 8-bit era, especially when one is forcing a game to do things it was never intended to deal with.
Even during the 16-bit generation, game graphics would break when you forced the game to perform unintended operations.
So, in short: games break when you force them to execute unintended actions.
