This week we head to Cannock Chase with UA-cam Legend, Great Guy and a fantastic photographer - Gary Norman to show him around one of our favourite photography spots.
Unfortunately the conditions weren't great, but I share with you and idea that will help you shoot woodland images on a blue sky day.

Just as well he wasn’t a real snake like we have here in Oz, Martin! You would have all run a mile in record time! Love the images, especially the colours. The third one was really stunning!🇦🇺

I love that last image, absolutely stunning. I met Gary myself recently when shooting a protest in London. His street photography is excellent and it was great to meet up with the 'legend' 😅

nice little video again mart, we don,t get snakes that big in the woods around here, ha ha, the chase always seem to give results, some great images mate, I think these old oaks seem to give a better composition while they are still bear at the moment, great job mate.

Another great video, those small valleys catch the sunrise/ early morning side light in May and June, the sun rises a lot more to the left of frame and you get lovely shafts of light breaking through. Seriously watch out for adders in the bracken in that area I have very recently seen one 10 meters from 'your tree'

Thanks so much, those little valleys are great little pockets for the light, I am looking forward to the greens coming back to revisit them in the summer months. I've heard there are loads of adders around, still can't believe in all the years I've been I've not come across one though.

Be careful to glorify the trees, otherwise it will turn out like in Scotland with that famous tree. There will be some crazy farmer and he will cut down what you will shoot then))).
