I have been watching market prep videos and creating stock since august of 23. I am applying to my first markets next month! I do hand painted wooden accessories and home decor and am very excited. Thank you for all the great tips, there were some in here that weren't in other videos like how your products fair in weather, and gift bundling!

Winter markets - might be helpful to have something to stand on to block the cold from traveling up your legs, like a broken-down cardboard box or bathmat. You get the idea. Also, many people now like to photo a QR code that take them to you shop instead of email addresses or business cards.
I am helping my kids with their first ever market. They make gift items out of resin and sell prints of their art, greeting cards, and bookmarks. We will also be trying your display tutorial soon. Thanks for the information!
I do markets sometimes but I've decided indoor only because I just had a bad outdoor rain thunder lightning experience in September and it ruined half my stuff. Thanks for the tips!
I have another one I'm just getting started but I suppose "a lot" of videos is relative! I also have 18 multi video classes up on skillshare so they add to my mental tally 😁

Great video! Love the gift idea! I also do craft shows in the fall and winter and I think having "gift sets" would be a great sell.

We did a Thanksgiving Market and my sister had a heated vest that was great for the chilly day.
Such a good idea! I've seen jackets and things with little built in heaters but never tried one.

Indoor only is a really good policy 😅 I've only done two outdoor markets with my art so far but it adds such an extra layer of stress right
