Talksport needs a new adjective. Every headline is “SLAMS” 😂😂😂
And "goes in on".
Don’t forget the word CLASH they love a good clash
You’ve all literally proven the first comment inaccurate 😂
What they should do is what klopp did a few years ago. Play your kids and let your main team rest.
If players got paid a game at a time. They will play 100 games a year...
Most top level players already have appearance fees and other similar clauses baked into their contracts.
@sangwiny4440 agreed. What if they only get paid what play. I.e. £20k a game rather then 300k a week.
world cup, euros, world cup qualifiers, euro qualifiers, club world cup, nations league, enlarged champions league, europa league, europa conference league, fa cup, league cup, premier league, theres too much football, the fans are burning out as much as the players
"National pay rise"
What on earth are you on about Troy?
More of a level playing field, all squad players must play a certain number of minutes.
There need to be the conversation or we'll get poor quality and injuries.
Football at this point is just a complete broken mess to many people with tested Internets all squabbling for what they want so they get a bigger slice of the football financial pie F.I.F.A , U.E.F.A , clubs , F.A 's agents , players all hve there own separate agendas & it's going to end up killing the professional game it's in the post.
If footballers cant play all these games and the excuse is they earn so much they need more games and tournaments. Put a wage cap in its not like they can go and find alternate work earning stupid money they like do. They would be warehouse workers without football.
Players should just shut up and appreciate what privilege they have
If you dedicate your life to one thing and work hard enough to make it to a top level, that’s not privilege. Imagine your boss decided you had to work an extra hour a day, you just going to shut up and appreciate having a job?
Players will not strike if you threathen them with there wages simple as!! Like Simon Jordan said if they don't want to play so many games have it in there contract to only play so many games a season and it's upto there manager and owner not fifa and uefa if they only want to play so many games they only get 50% of there wages see how many fold 😂😂
corporate cuck you are huh
We had the samething in cricket. Pre IPL, players were complaining about "too many games", after the IPL they are happy to over load their schedule
Spot on
Squads of 25 ...come on guys ..play their squad players in games against lower teams so that's 20 games a season on league matches alone
They get all their money because of sponsorship why don't they tell their sponsors they are not going on middle east tours or America or wherever their cash comes from to pay their exorbitant wages...so how that sits ..fairs fair
The owners want more money because these players are always trying to squeeze more money from the clubs. We dont need the club world cup and nations league.
clubs have to do these pre season tours to raise enough money to pay the players the stupid wages they demand...
Everyone agrees footballers are more then fairly compensated but they are in a nutshell human there is physical and mental limits you can go to without burning the candle at both ends
John Barns was the first player to be on £10k a week. Very good money for the times.... couldn't buy a property every single week with it. Unlike today £300k in the bank every Friday... for playing a fun game
Poor millionaire players. 65 games a year. Roughly 2 hours per week. Have a kick around for a few hours per week (training). My heart bleeds.
spot on, in fact i have wrote similar comment before..... they are not "at work"..... if i want to play footy with pals, we have to pay for the pitch per hour.
Oh please. This is easily solved. Just raise the financial caps and allow clubs to have 30-40 players, and adjust caps and restrictions accordingly. Split the games amongst them. Play as many games as you like, and everyone gets paid. More matches = more money for everyone. Simple. Move on and thank me later.
500k per year should be more than enough for kicking a ball
If it’s so easy why aren’t you doing it?
@@user-he2ou2ex2f players can even hit the target from 20 yards. Never said it was easy, I said 200k 300k 500k is too much per week for kicking a ball
@@Rocky0Road who earns 500k for kicking a ball?
@@user-he2ou2ex2f ok 350k
Seriously….how many teams does this tournament impact? Hardly any. Get on with it and shut up….or play for a mid table team.
Very easy to fix this. Drop the nations league as it’s pointless. Just go back to regular international qualifiers. Drop the club World Cup or and other out of season pointless competition. Frees up a bit of the calendar during and after the season as well as reducing games played by top players.
England playing San Marino and Andorra in qualification is more pointless than the nations league
Keep nations league- award a trophy at each tier so small teams have something to compete for
Cut down on pointless qualifiers by doing preliminary rounds to remove the rubbish teams
Reduce prem to 16 or 18 teams for a 30/34 game season
@@dazzag371 yeah. Spurs can be the first team launched
I also think the Nations League is pointless. The allure of the "big game" fixtures have been considerably diluted.
I hope players refuse to play in the club world cup
I’m hoping the club World Cup is cancelled and Infantino is sacked or walks , fingers crossed people
Dont worry, United wont be in it
another money spinner
If it was up to Simon Jordan the players would be playing every other day and be paid in peanuts.
Now you are throwing the baby out with the bath water
Players want to get paid 200, 300, 500k per week. This is a reality. Clubs need to generate revenue
No player should be on that per week
@@Rocky0Road At least they have got some talent - unlike Boris Johnson .
You’d love them to say and the cost for the fans , the players I’m referring to
