I don’t think that will happen. Why? The vast majority of players in the PL for example won’t be playing anywhere near as many games as the top players do and therefore if something negatively affects the minority, it’s not likely that the majority will will strike and lose money in doing so when they’re not affected. Strikes only work when the majority is affected. Think of it like this, if you were a player from Brentford (excellent player) and were asked to strike for a few games bc the super stars in the PL teams (who makes 3-5x you do) feel they’re playing too many games, in which case you’d lose your salary for the duration of time while on strike, would you? Most people look after their own self interest which is why strikes only work when there is a unified front of the entire group be aggrieved. Not saying it won’t happen, but it’s highly unlikely
