Boba DID show he had changed - it wasn’t just in it for himself. And he didn’t kill Cad Bane because of revenge, he did it to save his people. Boba became a better version of himself and Cad stayed the same. Using his Tuskan weapon also shows that growth/change.

I love how little Grogu saunters about during both the droid and rancor scenes like, "I didn't fly all these light years to reunite with Mando daddy just to have to call my Uber back and return to that Skywalker jerk with my hat in my hand..."
Grogu could have also thought, "I'm going to live to be 900. i just made 50. My Mando Dad will likely be dead before i'm speaking in complete sentences. i'm gonna hang with Mando Dad while i can. i got time for this Jedi stuff later."
It was Grogu’s choice to either return to his Mandalorian father and continue using the skills he has or join the Order and master the skills to great heights.
I like that you guys are the only ones that seem to understand Boba trying to change into a better man. Everybody else is pissed that he isn't a total coldhearted killer in every single scene.
The Cob Vanth reveal is layered into the episode. Boba Fett "We aren't cut out for this." Fenec "If not us - who?" This is their way to free Boba Fett to continue his honorable arc. Exploring his Mandalorian heritage. Hinted, again, in how he talks to Mando about the creed and how Mando makes the point to stand by him. Just like Boba stands by his friends. This is a remarkably well-laid plan here. Boba Fett isn't going anywhere.
Very interested to see whether this show takes on a second season, or if they'll just explore little bits of Boba in future Mandalorian episodes. I'd love to see Boba hand off the mantle to Cobb and then move forward in his journey alongside Mando.
the reason why cad was defeated so easily in hand to hand combat was that for his species, he's REALLY old. In the events of this show, he is 71 which is equivalent to an 85-year-old human. Also, a cool thing to note is that the skin color of his species fades as they get older which is why this cad has much lighter skin.
I actually respectfully disagree with how Boba handled Cad Bane. If anything it was the 'right' choice loosely speaking. Boba already has risen above by virtue of him standing against overwhelming odds with the people he swore is protected inside his shadow, and nothing what Cad Bane has said would have changed that. Also Cad Bane is pragmatic and he would not honor any sorts of banishment since he could just stroll wherever he wants so long as he gets paid in his contract. This has been proven by how the families even though swore to not take sides, backstabbed Boba instead of fighting for what is supposed to be their home. This is a good overall outcome where through Boba standing his ground and punishing the traitors and taking out the ruthless Cad Bane, Boba has legitimacy and strength to build his base as how he now sees fit.
Cad Bane didn't die. His suit was made to kill Jedi and Sith. The back/face tubes don't help him breathe, they prevent force choking. The front protects vital organ failures. If you looked when he died, the light indicator came on, meaning it took over. As they showed the body, the light was still on and audio queue essentially indicate he still had vital signs.

These crazy fan theories is what’s ruining the SW fandom. Everyone has their wish lists of characters to see. When they don’t show up. They chit on the show & everyone associated with.
Every once in awhile, I think hardcore Star Wars fans should watch the shows and movies with casual fans. The diehard fan base has started putting these high expectations(see Wandavision theories from last year) on the shows and wanting to just be blown away constantly, and then being disappointed when the expectations aren’t met. Watching with casual fans, it’s fun enjoying the ride and not obsessing over what they did or didn’t do. I enjoyed this finale. Boba and Mando fighting back to back, Grogu showing he’s not as weak as he has been before, and just all around fun action. More Star Wars seasons please 😉
@@bigfella6898 you’ve watched everything Disney+ has put out in two years, and can categorically rank this at the bottom? This was a fitting end for Cad Bane(if it is an end). After killing so many Clones during The Clone Wars, he is bested by a Clone. I'm pleased as well that Boba was the one to kill him. In a way, Bane was the last tie to his old life as a bounty hunter. By killing him, he has at last freed himself from that old life. In a way, it mirrors the final duel between Obi Wan and Maul in Rebels. #copied
“David Crockett at the Alamo…” Well I was thinking more like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid but that works too. Also I’m surprised you guys didn’t catch the slight change in the ending theme.
was fun, i dont see bane as dead.. His droid Toto comes to save him I'm pretty sure that's what the beeping was to call him....Just showed how the structure of the shows are gonna be ..its going to be a mix of all different characters even in the Mandalorian season three..With Mando having the majority of the episodes just like Boba had the majority of the episodes here..Expect the unexpected and any character can show up at any time
Robert Rodriguez just lacks the “emotion and intrigue” when it comes to character development….it showed in all episodes he directed. Lots of quick highs, but a lot of unfinished plot holes which lead into Mando S3 and Asoka
Can we talk about how he didn’t even have a scene of din and boba saying goodbye?! They’ve fought together to the death 4 times now and he cut to mando flying. Man has no relationship building with his characters 😂
When the Rancor goes off after leaving Boba to deal with Cad Bane, that's when Mando and company deal with it at the same time. Boba can't come to help because he's take care of Bane.
Dave sure knows how to payoff everything that he has set up. Ok so first if there's 1 thing I've learned over the years "it's unwise to upset a Wookie" . I had to catch myself saying "DON'T YOU KILL THAT ________" At numerous points throughout this episode because HO BOY they did A LOT. From BK doing the Wookie being bsdass. To the unexpected teamwork. To the massive respect between Din and Boba. To R2 basically just strolling into Peli's shop like he owns the place(bummed there was no bit where Peli is like "R5 what do you mean you know him?") There is little bad I can say about this episode, or this season as a whole. Where else are you gonna get a Rancor rodeo, Yoda's species taming then napping by a rancor, TTFFB(Thank the Force for Beskar), uber Droidikas, and the end of Bane....who died as he lived........LIKE A BOSS(another missed opportunity to inter cut that fight with the unfinished CW arc where Boba gets the dent, but props to that call back to Boba and Koska Reeve in Mandalorian season 2). I hope we see more from this crew because DANK FERRIK it's just wizard
Thanks, Jenny! Thanks, Mike! 👾 I love Chapter 7... and I loved the series as a whole. I think Chapters 2, 5 and 6 were the strongest, all things considered. Next up: season 2 of THE BAD BATCH, OBI-WAN KENOBI, ANDOR and season 3 of THE MANDALORIAN!!!
I thought it wrapped Cad Bane’s story nicely, full circle. BUT. You might notice the flashing red light on his shirt is still on when Boba walks away. I LOVED this series, the naysayers need to get a life. 😁❤️
It's Star Wars. No one ever dies permanently. See: Boba, Palpatine, Luke, Obi Wan, Yoda, Qui Gon, Anakin, Cob Vance, Fennec Shand, Chewbacca... All of them dead or thought to be dead and yet came back in one form or another
It's definitely not perfect, but it was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, there's been an inordinate amount of hate going on, (mostly because of expectations vs reality, of course,) and people unable, (or unwilling,) to prevent the perfect from being the enemy of the good. There are so many people whining and complaining, about everything from the deepfake CG Luke not being perfect enough, to the "best episodes of Boba Fett not including Boba Fett at all." Despite this being some of the best Star Wars overall that we've gotten in years. (arguably even decades.) (Outside of the Mandalorian itself, of course.) Which, it wouldn't surprise me one bit, could very well lead to them ultimately deciding _not_ to green-light a second season! The standard for some is inflated so artificially high that it's effectively impossible for Lucasfilm to make everyone happy, no matter what they do. The lofty, unrealistic, and even unreasonable expectations are naturally bound to leave people with crushing disappointment, when things end up not turning out precisely the way they want. _"The higher your hopes, the further the fall."_ My point is; it shouldn't have to blow people's minds to be accepted, or considered good enough. Well worth a second season, at least. I mean, maybe we've just been spoiled, especially in those two penultimate chapters of the Book of Boba Fett, anything less eventful, more ordinary, any step in a different direction whatsoever has become unacceptable now, for some. And they happen to be the ones who are the loudest, (or most influential,) to some, creating a "bandwagon," where it becomes uncool to have been adequately entertained. And unafraid to admit it. Whatever the case, I'd suggest criticizing constructively, at the very least. And maybe not demanding an unrealistic standard, to be sufficiently satisfied. That's all. ✌
Baffling there was no goodbye scene between boba and din?! Very poor by Robert Rodriguez IMO. That relationship pay off with a goodbye would’ve been so wholesome. They have each other’s back!
Robert Rodriguez said that, that was done purposely, because it's obvious that Din and Boba's stories arent over with eath other. He said it was in the sense of the saying " it's not goodbye, it's I'll see you later."
I guess I am a weird star wars fans, but I LOVED IT. I just sat back and totally enjoyed it. Mondo meeting Grogu made me tear up, a great scene. Peli Motto was the best. Boba and Fennec came thru...... I hope Cad Bane is dead and gone, but this is Start Wars. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😏💕
Not at all lol some people are just too hard or too easy to please I'm somewhere in between lol shows gets a 7 but now that it's over there's an empty feeling left
I really do not know what is supposed to be canon with the dent in Boba Fett’s helmet. A dent was there when Jango wore the helmet. You can clearly see it when Jango fires at the charging beast on Geonosis.
I see that this episode along with the rest of the series (minus 5 and 6) has the fandom pretty divided. It’s expected though, especially when you bring back a character as loved as boba fett, there are going to be people who won’t like the decisions you make with that character, which is completely understandable. Ngl I had the sneaking suspicion that the only purpose of this show was to fill in the gaps between Mando season two and three, I was correct lol. What I also think might be the case is that they’ve been putting all their focus on the Mandalorian, that this show just didn’t get as much attention as it should have, especially story wise. I dunno though, that’s just my two cents 🤷🏽♀️
I can see Mandalorian season 3 will be Mando and Grogu reopening the mines of Mandalor. Meanwhile, Grogu will recall his Jedi training and meld it with Mandalorian values.
i feel like Cad Bane survived, if you pay attention his life support from his suit activated, it could definitely be not true but that's just my theory.
I would have preferred that Cad Bane survived, so he could turn into the equivalent of Moff Gideon to Mando, but on Boba's show. However, this seems to be a one-shot series, and I dunno what could a season 2 revolve around, now that Boba has consolidated his power on Tatooine (maybe take revenge against Mace Windu and add more flashbacks of Jango?). Anyway, the face-off was worthy and at least Bane was killed by Boba, not by another character, in a proper though ironical way (killed with the weapon from the people he had despised for "softening" Boba). 8/10 PS. Qi'Ra (on TBOBF) = Mephisto (on WandaVision)😝
I think the individual moments between the "heros" in this episode that the story built towards were great, but in the time between those moments the "non-heros" didn't act in logical ways, which was a bit immersion breaking. Like the big robots walking towards the good guys without firing, or when the good guys run away, firing a safe distance behind them so as to not hit anyone. Or the good guys shooting the robot repeatedly when the shield was up, and then stopping firing altogether when the shield was down. Also, bit sad that they killed off Cad Bane after an episode and a half. And to a single poke from a stick too. (No disrespect to the gaffe stick, but after all the stuff Cad Bane has survived, that was a bit lack luster.) Still, all in all, the episode had more good than bad, and I mostly enjoyed it.
Boba DID show he had changed - it wasn’t just in it for himself. And he didn’t kill Cad Bane because of revenge, he did it to save his people. Boba became a better version of himself and Cad stayed the same. Using his Tuskan weapon also shows that growth/change.

These crazy fan theories is what’s ruining the SW fandom. Everyone has their wish lists of characters to see. When they don’t show up. They chit on the show & everyone associated with.
4:57 this line is straight out of The Godfather. “There’s a lot of money in that white powder.”
Good call. I was thinking Scarface, but you got it.
There's godfather references in a few episodes
Point of this show is that they are NOT separate stories, you will see everyone, everywhere.
Cobb needs his own show called Mod Men. Haha.
Well I live in Australia, I have watch this 3 times it was epic! thanks for your reaction Jedi Jive!
Did Grogu say "Ello" to whatshername?
Bane might not be dead. His suit was flashing and beeping,
Every once in awhile, I think hardcore Star Wars fans should watch the shows and movies with casual fans.
I'm a casual Star Wars fan. I stopped watching this after episode 2 because it was the worst thing Disney+ has put out.
@@bigfella6898 you’ve watched everything Disney+ has put out in two years, and can categorically rank this at the bottom? Episode 5 and 6 is some of the best Star Wars content that has been made in a long time.
Was this ever going to be good as a Mandalorian season? No. However, for adding a more to the Star Wars universe, it did its job.
@@Ladmia Episode 5 and 6 were proof that Boba Fett is such a terrible character that they had to write in 7,000 fan service cameos to make people enjoy the show.
@@bigfella6898 I thought you stopped watching after episode 2? And the episodes are part of the series so the count in the overall quality of the show. They have said before that several of these live action shows are set during the Mandalorian timeline. They are all going to tie in so people should get used to now that they will be intertwined.
@@Ladmia I did, but the rest of the internet exists so I found out that they brought back Mando, Asohka, Grogu, etc without having to watch. That's how being alive on Earth works.
Cobb vanth going full Bravestar! Love it. What an awesome finale! 😊
Cad Bane isn’t dead. Turn the volume up at that scene. His suit is beeping. It’s life support.
18:20 Flawless Victory!
Silverado was my favorite western!💕💕💖
I was hoping that the female Tusgen warrior was still alive
Everyone seems to have forgotten Todo 360. Cad Bane may be down. But I doubt he's out.
Grogu will be with Mando in "The Mandalorian" Season 3 & help him regain his honor
this episode has more of a 1920s Prohibition Era gangster vibes imo, especialy with that Thompson looking SMG (the one that was used to intimidate Mok Shaiz's assistant by one of the Pyke gangster's) & all this talk about about the spices remind me of the moonshines in the 1920s.
Thanks for another great reaction guys.
See ya both on may 4th for kenobi...yes you read that correctly... KENOBI ON MAY 4TH!!!😀👌
👍From scotland🏴
Must just be me, but I'm sure Grogu speaks when he touches the Rancor..
Great reaction, what a finale! ;)

Well I was thinking more like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid but that works too.
Also I’m surprised you guys didn’t catch the slight change in the ending theme.
Whoa whoa whoa.. How did you guys managed to get an exclusive interview with Boba?!
No communication apparatus between freetowners and Din?
was fun, i dont see bane as dead..
@@rhysdreamsbig5802 you missed out on seeing two mandalorians nod at each other then one leaves
@@wldcrd26 I don’t care what anyone says. they are more than that now.
Disagree 100 % with this comment
the attack droids did not seem like a threat at all, they shoot like storm troopers!
cad bane isn't dead his life monitor on his chest was still beeping
When the Rancor goes off after leaving Boba to deal with Cad Bane, that's when Mando and company deal with it at the same time. Boba can't come to help because he's take care of Bane.
Boba already killed so many bikers, innocent bikers. Killed Pikes. Killed storm troopers. Killed that guy in episode one.
Din is probably as fast as Cobb ,but this was Bobas fight
Isn't one of the stand ins for Mando a John Wayne relative? Loved the episode and your comments as always!
Yes, one of the body/stunt doubles for the Mandalorian is Brendan Wayne, John Wayne's grandson
Is it just me, or does Cad Bane remind you of Megatron, the Transformer?
The shootout between Fett and Bane reminded me of the 1986 movie.
Much love for the ep and the series.
All of them dead or thought to be dead and yet came back in one form or another
Actually, it’s Black Krrsantan, not Chewbacca. BK is black while Chewie is brown.
@@tararocksong5085 Chewie was presumed dead after Rey and Kylo force dueled over the troop carrier.
@@HornlineOvertones, plz. Sequel trilogy is a dishonor to the Star Wars franchise.
It's definitely not perfect, but it was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, there's been an inordinate amount of hate going on, (mostly because of expectations vs reality, of course,) and people unable, (or unwilling,) to prevent the perfect from being the enemy of the good.
There are so many people whining and complaining, about everything from the deepfake CG Luke not being perfect enough, to the "best episodes of Boba Fett not including Boba Fett at all."
Despite this being some of the best Star Wars overall that we've gotten in years. (arguably even decades.)
(Outside of the Mandalorian itself, of course.)
Which, it wouldn't surprise me one bit, could very well lead to them ultimately deciding _not_ to green-light a second season!
_"The higher your hopes, the further the fall."_
My point is; it shouldn't have to blow people's minds to be accepted, or considered good enough.
He's just stopping by to help, it's not goodbye
I guess I am a weird star wars fans, but I LOVED IT. I just sat back and totally enjoyed it.

Agreed
Interested to see that machine go off on cads chest, I think it’s the first time it’s done that?
In case his primary heart gets damaged, yes.
I thought of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid not the Alamo
I can see Mandalorian season 3 will be Mando and Grogu reopening the mines of Mandalor.
Meanwhile, Grogu will recall his Jedi training and meld it with Mandalorian values.
Grogu is a speed junkie
I was really hoping to see Cad's Droid, Todo. Other than that, loved the series. I suspect we'll still see Bane in Ahsoka or Obi-Wan. Flashbacks.
Don't worry about Bane, he could always turn up in Kenobi...
Jar Jar Binks fought those Scorpion Droids. Remember.
With a big damn tank.
i feel like Cad Bane survived, if you pay attention his life support from his suit activated, it could definitely be not true but that's just my theory.
This is bananas
Mando was so dumb in the droideka part. All he had to do was to a jedi flip and slam the saber down and the shield would break.
Great reaction!!!.
Man, that episode was intense.
Good reaction as always fam.
Thanks bro! Is Kenobi next?
Amazing finale, I loved it.
PS. Qi'Ra (on TBOBF) = Mephisto (on WandaVision)😝
I'm sure he will return. They didn't bring such a cool character in to kill him right away. His suit was beeping on the end showing he's still alive.
@@marklatham1414 Or, it could be just the systems staying active after his death.
@Bleeding Eye Watcher true I guess we have to wait to find out.
(No disrespect to the gaffe stick, but after all the stuff Cad Bane has survived, that was a bit lack luster.)
Still, all in all, the episode had more good than bad, and I mostly enjoyed it.
14:30 Clone Wars
Unlike the Alamo in which the "heroic" defenders were fighting for slavery, the Boba Fett crew were fighting for freedom.
