  • Originally aired on April 29, 2010 - Caller Kayla "gave" her boyfriend a threesome for Valentine's Day. Dr. Drew asks her if anything happened to her around the ages of 3 and 11. She responds with the typical Loveline caller denial. However, as the call moves forward, Dr. Drew's predictions would be proven correct. He proceeds to leave the studio and has an off-mic fit (barely audible in the background) because of the shear denial of callers.

Drew hears the little girl voice and instantly knows something bad totally happened in their past

Funny how Dr Drew always gets these things right, yet the callers always seem to not know what he means.

a lot of people don't want to admit trauma. it's not uncommon.

He gets it from their voice, girls who were abused at a young age will sometimes have their voice not devolop after that age. As a result they'll sound 10 when they're an adult.

I hate how all these guys are laughing. Talk about not being trauma informed.

Dr drew said on his podcast that he thinks women’s voice sounds like the age they were molested. So he thinks the caller sounds like a 3 year old or 11 year old.

This is either incredible or staged. And I’m leaning towards incredible

It’s science. Women that speak like children had some trauma. They revert back to that age.

it's gross how he casually asks if she was molested on air and his friend laughs in the background.

So how would you ask? You want to cast judgement but exactly how should you address an issue this serious? Ever think that maybe it's a nervous chuckle like omg I can't believe he asked her that upfront.

@@art-byfayleif3938 Nah man its no nervous chuckle, that was straight laughter at this girl's experience. As if it was just content. There are real people behind these stories. Yet they respond as if this experience is just fodder to spur some sort of entertaining reaction. Pretty gross

Lol bitches wonder why their entire existence is a problem while prioritizing their petty estrogen fueled emotions over facts.

      1. He was correct
      2. She called a radio show with a sexual question, getting her to talk about it relates to her problem
      3. He graduated from medical school, that’s why he was aloud to be a doctor.
      4. She is “effed up” her development was effed up and he helped her.
      5. What world do you live in where you get to question who deserves to be what?

Dr. Drew is absolutely disgusting, making this woman's trauma all about himself, coercing her to expose it in public, and treating her as a prop. Wow.

lol Are you unhinged? Without a purpose in life? Don't answer-- I know it's a yes. This is a voluntary, anonymous, INFORMAL CALL-IN LINE FROM DECADES AGO-- the only reason it offends you is because people are no longer free to say what they think in 2023. Censoring people in order to please the most fragile doesn't make what people think or believe any less true.

Have you not listened to the show before? They talk to trauma victims every episode. The callers are made well-aware by the screeners that they're going to talk and be asked about their most intimate issues because that's the point of the program.

I half agree... he makes a prediction, once it's proven to be more or less correct he's simply like , "LOOK AT THAT! SEE" as if that's helping the caller. Meanwhile if he senses you were abused, he'll consider the abuse brutal rape or getting spanked once as a 5 year old, you admit to one of those, or anything in between, he considers himself right. So about 80-90% of people were abused, and he acts like predicting that is somehow helpful. It was worse when Adam was there, once they got out of the caller that their neighbor played doctor with them they would declare victory and move on.
