I do these at least once a week, usually in the following routine: Single leg calf raises, 30 each leg Single leg knee over toe calf raises, 30 each leg, Single leg tibialis raises, 30 each leg. They are all done as one super set. My right leg is resting while my left leg works and vice versa. I used to do 3 rounds of this. But lately, I've started running again, and I find that it burns my calves out too much. So one round is enough for me right now.

The best way to grow your soleus is do to barefoot running/running in minimalist shoes. My soleus blew up after doing that for a few months
