The bartender is Rachel, the guy pursuing her is Ross, the couple at 0:33 are Monica and Chandler, the 2 blondes at 1:57 are Phoebe and her twin sister Ursula, the DJ is Gunther, the woman at 2:42 is Janice, the prom couple are Frank, Phoebe's half-brother and his girlfriend and the lead singer is Joey.
The song is from the soundtrack for "Singles" but the video isn't scenes from the movie. Some of those in the video were in the movie in very minor parts though. Most easily identifiable is Jeremy Piven.
I remember when this came on MTV back in the day and I was like "who's this George McFly looking dude?" Discovered the Replacements a few years later and was like OHHHH DAMNN now I get it!! Easily in my top 5 as far as song writers go.
