One doubt.. what is the output acceptable voltage for 4 feet series connected led? I have 50 led connected in series.. so it is needed about 150v.
I tried it with 400v224j ceremic capacitor and it gives 200v. Is it ok?

Thanks for watching the video and contacting me.
The output voltage ( 200) you checked , it is with load or without load . The drivers like this always shows high voltages without load . With load you will get the accurate output voltages . Check it with load . Then test how many voltages you get . I think with load it will give you about 123 or 128 . And its ok .

Brother as you told me that your tube have 50 leds . And it should take 150 volts DC . And the driver is giving 168 volts . I think its over voltages . Try to reduce the voltages to 148 . So that the leds won't get burn .

have you measured power consumption after installing new power supply?

    • @techzone9253
      @techzone9253  9 місяців тому

I didn't measure . But it will consume same electricity as a normal Led tube light consumes

It seems that you connect your driver is supplied with 220 volts ac. Will it work with 110 volts ac?

      Hi ,
Hope you will be fine by the grace of God.
Thanks for watching my video and contacting me. Yes brother this driver works on 220 V AC . Because in all over Pakistan there is 220 v AC . Let me check it with 110 v AC then i will tell you . Otherwise with 220 v its working perfectly.
I made this video a month ago but my tube light has been working perfectly for about 11 months. The light from this driver is reduced by only one percent which is not countable .But the tube light does not go bad for a long long time .
Brother you are requested to please subscribe my channel. I will be very thankful to you. 💕💕💕💕
The original drivers produce high voltage due to high voltage led,s gives a lot of light, but it also gets vety hot, which causes the tube light to break down very quickly and repeatedly.

Hi bro. I tested this driver on 110 V AC . By reducing the main current the out put voltage also reduced. But you can make it work by changing the resistor. Use less value then 1M resistor. Check it with using the resistor of 800K , 700 K , 600 K Just by reducing the value of resistor you will get it worked with 110V AC .
      Inshallah ( God willing)
When you done let me know .
Take care and good luck 👍

Morning, tanong lang po... bakit 10 micro po ang selection nyo... I tried splicing a second hand led to a dead led like yours.. it didn't last..
    Pls advise..🙏

Brother you know that these LEDs have a life period. By the time they get weak , not burn , working but weak . These weak LEDs won't work if you replace only the driver . All LEDs should be brand new . Then tube light will work properly.
In electronics market the whole strip of 4 feet led tub light are available in cheep price . Get those strips and try again .

@@techzone9253 I once have a 96 led pcs on my 1.2 mtr tube light. During test, only 1 pc was damaged. Is replacing all the most practical solution? I am a novice and agree you understand the dilema better.. thank you..

I made this driver which gives 120 volts DC output.
There were 80 leds in one strip ( in the video ) 40 leds were in series and each led is of 3 volts DC. So 40X3= 120 volts DC.
You should check the volts of leds . Then check how many leds are in series and how much volts they need .

@@techzone9253 ... I use a dc auto volt led tester to check how much voltage is running the system, so is the current. That gives me the idea how to do the driver. I am only looking for alternatives and suggestions from better minds.. salamat po.. 🙏

Thanks for watching and contacting me.
      List for single driver .
      1 piece ... Mylar capacitor 225J 450 V .
      1 PIECE.... resistor 1M
      1piece.....capacitor . 10uf 250 V
      4 pieces ..... Diodes 1N4007.
Brother this driver is for the tube light having 3volts leds . Mostly the tube light have 3 V leds .
Plz check before repair. If the LEDs of tube light you are going to repair are of 3 V . Then this driver will work perfect . And if the leds are of more than 3 v ,. Like 6v or 12v . Let me know .
And please don't forget to subscribe my channel plz 🙂
