Also, I agree with you on wearing perfume for ourselves instead of others. I like to sample a lot of perfumes, though I only own six. Each have a very different feeling and evoke varying times, places, and feelings.

I love that the first perfume you mentioned is Chanel No. 22! I have been wearing it the last few days and it has just been calling to me too. I don’t like it much in the summer for some reason. Where I live it still feels like summer does in many places, but I can feel a whisper of fall and No. 22 just seemed like the thing to make me feel it more. I came here to see what you’ve been feeling and glad I am not alone in responding to No. 22’s siren song now. I had to stop the video because my husband turned on the baseball series game. I see Chanel 22 as this experienced lady that comforts me whenever I need it. I enjoy very much the jasmine millesim, it's a very dark and deep jasmine overdosed vintage Shalimar, I even prefer it to the iris one😅 I must admit that I just don't watch as many perfume reviews as I used to, except yours. And I'm in a rediscovery mood right now with my own collection. For example I found a bottle of la panthère from Cartier that I purchased 2 years ago, at the time I may have sprayed it three times, and I forgot about it. Now that I re introduced myself to it, I'm just obsessed! Gardenia, muscs, jasmine, fruits , a modern Chypre that just beats all the niche stuff! Really encourage you to smell it. Beautiful video as always, inspiring 👏👏👏. Love you 😘😘😘
My favorite October perfume is Youth Dew.. I smell wet burnt leaves in it ..
October can’t go by without No. 5, of course for me anyway. I can make the case for The Twelve Months of No. 5.
Right, for me a month does not go by (honestly, rarely a week) without one of the 5 concentrations of No. 5 being worn! It is my eternal No. 1 love.

I think you’ll like the new Shalimar Jasmin, it goes very musky on me almost in the same way as Comete. It doesn’t smell like Comete but wears in a similar way, very fluffy and cozy feeling, a “halo” type sillage.

Mmmmmh New Look is a disappointment imo cheap synthetik. Dont like it! 😕
