யாழ்பானக்கல்லூரியில் 1976 ல் ஒரு மாணவனாக இணைந்தார் .படிப்பை முடித்து உயர் கல்வி கற்று, பட்டங்கள் பல வாங்கி ஆசிரியராக 1980 ல் கல்லூரியோடு இணைந்தார் மாணவனாக படிக்கும் காலத்தில் பல துறைகளிலும் பங்கேற்று தன்னை வளப்படுத்திக் கொண்டார். நூல் நிலைய ஆசிரிய மேற்பார்வையாளர் ,மாணவர் விடுதிகளின் உப பாதுகாவலர் ,பின்னர் பாதுகாவலர் ,கல்லூரியின் Chaplin ,பிரதம பாடசாலையின் மேற்பார்வையாளர் , கிறிஸ்தவ மத போதகர்,நூலாசிரியர் என அவருடைய கல்விச்சேவையின் பட்டியல் நீள்கிறது .குறிப்பிட்டு சொல்வதென்றால் யாழ்ப்பாணக்கல்லூரியை இவர் அதிகம் பயன்படுத்திக் கொண்டது போலவே யாழ்ப்பாண கல்லூரியும் இவரை அதிகம் பயன்படுத்திக்கொண்டது .தன்னுடைய வாழ்க்கையின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு முன்னாள் அதிபர் திரு .ராஜன் கதிர்காமர் அவர்கள் ஆற்றிய அந்த சேவையை இன்றும் நன்றியோடு நினைவு கூறுகிறார் .ஒரு சாதாரண விவசாயக் குடும்பத்தில் இருந்து வந்த ஒரு மாணவர் படிப்பினால் ஒரு பெரும் உயர்ச்சியை அடைய முடியும் என்பதற்கு இவரது வாழ்க்கை ஒரு பெரிய எடுத்துக்காட்டு .2012 ல் ஓய்வு பெற்று இப்போது Australia Sydney Tamil Christian Church போதகராக வாழ்ந்து வருகிறார்
என்றும் எங்கள் மிஷனரிகள் ,அதிபர்கள் ,ஆசிரியர்கள் ,கல்விசாரா ஊழியர்கள், மற்றும் மாணவர்களை எங்கள் நெஞ்சில் நிறுத்துகிறோம் .

I listened to this document about the history of Jaffna College. Very informative, interesting and EXCELLENT interview by Rev. Gopal Nadarajah. He is a role model not only to students but also to the entire educational community. This document clearly shows how much respect he shows towards his students, Jaffna College and the whole academic community. I suggest this document must be listened to by every student and teacher. I always admired Rev. Gopal Nada Rajah's knowledge, communication skills and attitude. He is always very polite, respects all, and is ready to help especially people who deserve it. Very hard to find a person like Rev. Gopal Nadarajah. Service to humans is service to God. He always respects and follows this principle. God always bless you.

I can remember that Pastor went from Nuwara eliya to Jaffna College and served as a vice principal in The Jaffna College. Pastor took many students from Nuwara eliya and helped them to come forward in their life. This truly proves that pastor had set an example by improving your skills to motivate people and children around you. May God bless you more and more.
