Immediate thumbs up even before you sat behind the kit. Excellent work as always. Consistency on every note, ghost notes, everything shows complete domain 🙏🏻🤘🏻
The double bass placement on the "1" at the start of each verse(?) section is brilliant. Most drummers would skip it and add it only on the second bar forward.
Does it hurt the center holes of the crashes and china to be allowed to move that freely without top felts and wing nuts even though I see that the threads on the stands are covered up? Nice playing also.
It looks like you a bridging the hi-hat pedal and slave bass drum pedal here, is that the case? I love doing this, but I don't see that many people doing it. Like, hardly ever!
Not sure what you mean. I have them side by side, but playing hit hat and then double kick, never together. When playing the hi hat the kick pattern is with one kick.
@@markzonder3771 in certain situations, I have enjoyed playing both the hi-hat pedal and the slave kick pedal together. That of course only works for certain patterns, but by "bridging," I do mean placing the foot over both pedals at once. I have them very close together, so it works very easily!
This is one of the best Metal Drummer ever, best regards from Bavaria Germany 🇩🇪😁🎸🤟🤘
as a kid he was my drum-hero,...now 40 years later for both of us he still is....
It's a blessing to be getting these drum videos!
Man, I could watch you play drums all day long. You are awesome.
Thanks, do you have this info: ua-cam.com/channels/ZwhyPHkDvAGc_GTI20Fgrw.html
Greetings from Brazil , Mark👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Fantastic as usual. I always marvel at the compact efficiency of your movement behind the kit.
Watching Mark playing the drums is like watching the ocean waves
I remember first hearing this song on the Lordian Guard album and the ending to the guitar solo always slayed me.
One of my fav
the kit got thinned out.... and you prove to us that you could have hardly no kit and still light it on fire and entertain us!! Cheers!
Thanks. Been playing this kit for years. Awesome sounding!

My buddy makes Cymrings so you don’t need nuts and cymbals go on and off. Best for cymbals to swing free. No breakage. Thanks for the nice words.
