First game I ever helped crowdfund. Looking forward to it. I think the first Octopath Traveler proved that the classic JRPG can still sell well and the rest of the industry took notice. It just took a few years to get the train rolling again, but now the classic JRPG fans are eating good 😊.
Great video! Can't wait... loved looking for characters, leveling them up, and seeing which ones I liked best. Always played Suikoden games through first without stressing about getting all of the SOD, then starting over with a guide and getting the secrets and true endings. 5 was the best!

Thanks to my Castle- Bro for the good Videos 😊 Suikoden was full of little Details, like the Cooking Competition, or little Details when Characters talk to each other. And the Same Love we could saw in Eiyuden chronicle Rising...so i have no doubt Eiyuden chronicle 100 Heros will be Suikoden 6 with another Name.❤
My castle bro, how are you :) I love the little details that all Suikodens have. I hope Eiyuden will have that same amount of detail and mini game! It's definitely Suikoden 6 to me
@@kali-qgames1301 Hey Kali :-) yes i think so too. Look at the Bathhouse, or the Theater ...i thibk they Delayed the Game because of Recording Voices for the Theater are too intense * laugh* Now, without Konami as big Publisher, i think they can go and make the Suikoden they always wanted.
I just upgraded my internal PS5 hard drive from 1 GB to 4 GB. Just to have enough room for SO2 R, FF7 rebirth and ECHH. I definitely wouldn't have had enough room for FF7 rebirth. Those games are like 300-500 GB alone. Crazy how much memory some games take up.
Devs says base game alone lasts at least 40 hours, and if you want to go full in it's 60 to 80 hours. That without counting the future DLCs and extra features announced back in the KS campaign!
I'd be content if it was on the lighter side, tbh. Suikoden 2 is only like a 25-30 hour game, maybe 40-50 if you try to do everything, but it was always felt like a complete package that didn't need to be any longer. (Suikoden 3 on the other hand definitely could have used some trimming.) I do worry a little that the game will feel bloated with all the extra superfluous stuff that got added through backer milestones, but I'm going to be optimistic and hope it just means more to enjoy.
@@Zeik56 Supposively, extra features are going to be extra and you can ignore them if you don't like. The game will be released as a full package but the rest that will be added won't be needed to complete the game!

It belongs to special place in my heart and now that it's coking out soon, I can't wait for it truly!
The Suikoden series is the series of my childhood. And the second part is the only game that made me cry after finishing it. At that time, I was going through a difficult adolescence and I had problems at home. Suikoden was a catalyst for various emotions and helped me deal with problems. The concept itself and the returning heroes, along with the amazing OST and the excellent combat system made it difficult to find anything in this game that was not perfect. Especially the second part, which had a lot of secrets and discovering them on your own had a wow effect. Unfortunately, the decline of the series began with the third part. Murayama was missing. 3-5 are still decent games, but they don't come close to the level of excellent 1&2. Nevertheless, together with thousands of players from all over the world, we fought for the return of the series, organizing various events and writing petitions. Murayama was aware of this and decided to reward our efforts. I still believe that with good sales of Eyudeen. Konami can cooperate and finally create Suikoden 6 (Kingdom od Harmonia is still a mystery).
First if all I want to thank you for sharing your story. It's a true testament to how amazing these games truly are. I'm glad that Suikoden helped you get through those tough times. It is true the series started to decline with the later games. However I'm so happy that we are here now at Eiyuden. Hopefully this game can give us that same impact that made Suikoden 1 and 2 so special I appreciate your story, thank you my friend

I totally agree with the reasons stated in this video. I have been a longtime fan of Suikoden ever since Suikoden 2. I played most of the Suikoden games even the spin-offs and the not related Suikoden Tierkries. Haven't played the ones on the PSP (Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki) though but my points on this one is that nowadays, people tend to go for faster-paced, minimal story-driven games which I can understand from a certain perspective, and some would even say that "reading textboxes is boring" which goes to show how "lazy" majority of gamers had become. I saw one video saying that "turn-based" RPGs is a dying franchise which to my disappointment stems from overflowing transition of "turn-based to action-RPGs genres" *cough Square-Enix cough*. And not just that, they even cited that because of the "long story" people were bored to actually play the game...sheesh. They forgot that that is the beauty of JRPGs. A well-written story deep enough to be immersed in and a compelling one for you to play it. But I am glad that gems such as Sea of Stars or Chained Echoes have emerged and surprisingly well-written as indie titles. So, when Eiyuden Chronicles appeared on my radar a few years back, I instantly backed the Kickstarter! I really don't mind if turn based RPGS are confined to just the 2.5 HD graphics because it goes with it so well.

It shows that jrpg and turn base rpgs are still can make money and can made for less money than 100 million dollars. There are still lots of jrpg lover out there looking for quality jrpg that we are use to get. Square need to go back to there roots and stop trying to western and over spending . 4 million dollars game will be better and sell more then a 100 million ff.

Yes it's absolutely my most anticipated JRPG!! It's such a great experience, you're right! We have been eating so we'll these days, its a perfect time for us! Thanks for checking this video out, I hope you try Eiyuden when it comes out!
@@kali-qgames1301 it looks really good, especially the town building aspect. My first exposure to it was the Nintendo Direct and it definitely caught my interest. This year's been great and next year looks even better somehow, it's crazy. I still need to catch up, my backlog just keeps growing xD but hey that's ultimately a good problem to have, right? I might not get to it right away but I'll definitely check it out asap 👍
Dude consider your stated mission ACCOMPLISHED. Straight up this video and you alone just got me super hyped for a game I didn’t even know existed till a few weeks ago🎉🎉🎉
Great video and love the passion you have for suikoden and its future successor
Thank you very much! This truly means a ton to me! That was my mission when I made this video! Eiyuden is so darn amazing and I have high hopes!
Thank you for supporting my channel!
I have never played a game like this before. But did I pre order the deluxe edition because the trailer looked cool asf. Yes.
I pre-ordered it! Every gem must be bought... my poor wallet by the way
Haha same here, my wallet has been lighter these days because of all of these amazing titles! Which system you grabbing it for?
@@kali-qgames1301 I go for the PS5 Version!
What did you think of the line " i died as a women instead of a general" from suikoden 1? I was watching another youtuber talk about suikoden 1&2 and he really didn't like that line said it was something an incel would write and i personally disagree but i would like to hear how you or anyone else in this comment section feels about it
Do you have a reference to that line? I can't quite remember it. I want to see it first again before I comment on it
@@kali-qgames1301 looks like i got the line wrong but the general idea is the same, she said i choose to be a woman instead of a commander. Eaiest way to find the line is to type suikoden 1 Odessa death into youtube
❤I am hooked already. I wonder how many hours we need to recruit all the heroes
Haha that's part of the joy and fun! I can't wait to spend hours recruiting everyone
@@kali-qgames1301 Yup, same here. So exciting.
I want to play the suikoden games now :0
Haha that was my goal brother, good on you 💪🏾
12 more days till we can play EIYUDEN CHRONICLE HUNDRED HEROES WOOHOO :) SO GLAD I PRE-ORDERED THIS GAME ON STEAM :) might get it on switch too just so i have it on the go XDDD
Forreal fam! In so darn excited! We are ALMOST THERE! We'll all celebrate on the channel together soon! Thanks for watching fam
@@kali-qgames1301 by the way i noticed that the switch version of EIYUDEN CHRONICLE HUNDRED HEROES comes out in may unlike the rest of the multiplatforms its on :/ perhaps the switch version had some issues maybe and thus was pushed to a may release instead of the april release so they have more time to work on any of the isues the switch version may of come accross :/ only thing i could think of really :/ saw it was a may 21st release for the switch version so almost an entire month for switch users :/
@@kali-qgames1301 by the way i noticed that the switch version of EIYUDEN CHRONICLE HUNDRED HEROES releases in may unlike the rest of its multiplatform versions :/ perhaps the switch version was delayed to may rather then april like the rest of the multiplatform versions of EIYUDEN CHRONICLE HUNDRED HEROES coming in april mainly due to some issues the switch version came accross thus pushing it to a may release instead of an april release like the rest of the platforms its on :/ thats just my guess really or it was like that from the start? :/ dunno i normally don't keep track of these things :/
Still waiting 😭
Yes me too unfortunately, I want it now!
SUIKODEN 5 WAS AMAZING. FOR ME THE BEST AFTER 1
5 was pretty underrated to me
I wish they make Suikoden 6 in Eiyuden chronicle 100 heros style 2D3D style.
Now that would be so epic!, I hope it can happen my friend :)
Im still need more suikoden series, because i really want to know what happen between Yuber and Pesmerga😱
Hopefully we can find out someday friend lol
Day 1 buy.
Absolutely day one! I seriously cannot wait man! It's gonna be glorious
@@kali-qgames1301 I agree 👍 💯
I never really got into the Suikoden series 😬, something about collecting a bunch of characters just isn’t my thing. I prefer a smaller more tailor made party. Might give this a go to see if it clicks… eventually 😅
I absolutely respect that! I can see how it just seems a little too much! But I do hope you give this one a try. It looks extremely promising!, And the stories on these games are so darn good
i hope this game is such a great success, so that konami finally wakes of and makes some good remasters of the Suikiden games, especially 3-5 also too, 1 -2 are already comimng, even it it has becoem silent again aroudn the Dual Remasters of those 2.. but Suikoden has to be revived, it needs finally a modern 6th game to brign the Ip into next gen.
Yes this would be absolutely best case scenario. I'm really hoping that it will be a success and we all can start winning.
Thanks so much for watching
so this game is basically a Suikoden game but with a different name :D
Yes exactly my friend, even by the same creator
Cant ducking wait lol
Same here my friend lol
I just hope that I can kick noah out of the party whenever I want.
Haha why?
@@kali-qgames1301 I just want my party to be all fat male and/or beast-men
Why just can play in ps5..?? I dont have ps5 . I see in playstation store just avaible in ps5. They broke a promise😭
I agree, it needs to come out on other platform too
@@kali-qgames1301 its coming out on pretty much every platform...
3:29 JRPG... Not pandering to western markets yet all characters look medieval and white.. What am I missing here.?
I don't exactly consider that pandering. There are way worst examples of pandering than Eiyuden
Square has lost sight of it's original goal. I truly wish they would reclaim their original status of being pioneers. I will admit that FF7 rebirth looks pretty good.
