The faceplate uses magnets to latch on, so you don't need to snap it in. Also, the controller has hall-effect thumbsticks and triggers, so you won't ever get the joycon drift issues that the nintendo joycon and pro controllers have
Man i love mine so far i needed an extra controller to play smash with my step son. This really was the most affordable option for me. Plus i never have to worry about the joysticks developing drift
Its a pro controller, way better then expensive crap from Sony or Microsoft. Gamestop Candy con controllers are best value per buck and on top of it you an make them look like you want it.. Top quality components have been used in it and some parts are top shelf and invented in this year and you already have them in Candy con controllers....You can REPLACE THE BATTERY, so they are not an e-waste and you can get 2 year replacement warranty on them too.
@@jonathanelliott1338 Yes i did....just spreading good GME info where i can ...Its till one of the best controllers on the market and best value for your money.....
@@SsdistJeje Uhm there are videos of people disassembling it and it is not low quality at all. Take your shill bots with auto-generated user names elsewhere lol.
You wouldn't know about the quality, because: 1) Your account is too new at nine months old, has no content, and your only recent activity is negative comments on Candy Con videos exclusively. Natural and organic users typically have well aged accounts when they go around commenting on videos. 2) your word choice and sentence structure screams that you're ESL, meaning you live in a different country. 3) these controllers aren't available outside the USA, so you can't even get one to try it. 4) You have an auto-generated name for your comment, and your profile name is either just a bunch of random keystrokes or something overseas. This is a subtle way for you to say "my employer is making me do this".
wish companies wouldn't always copy the xbox layout for these. i'm partial to the dual sense style and ergonomics, but i'm tired of them being cheap and not using hall effect, this gen of controllers has been horrible for potentiometers wearing down way too fast. how would you say the ergonomics are? if it's exactly like xbox i guess it's not as comfy as the dualsense is for someone like me.
So is your phone, and most other things you own... However, it's obvious you dont own one, or ever used one. You have no valid opinions, you're just finding every piece of content on youtube about this product and shitting on it. Based on your other comments about stocks and trading, on videos about CONTROLLERS, it's obvious you're not a gamer; maybe you should just comment, and be active, on Treys Trades videos instead, seeing as you want to talk about something else.
As an employee and someone who bought it recently i gotta warn against buying this. The controller gets a lot of random drift issues and extra button inputs. I was really excited when i saw this but man they didnt put a lot of work into making it...
Yeah, I mean if you TRULY worked there, you wouldn't be shitting on something that's obviously a fluke considering that people are far more satisfied as a whole. If you do work there, then I hope you get fired for shitting on the company.
Would like to add, for anyone reading this fake warning from the mock employee. This controller uses 'Hall Effect' sensors in the triggers, AS WELL AS the in the sticks. These switches are not mechanically operated, but are solid-state which make them far more robust; no mechanical operation essentially means, NO STICK DRIFT. Of the two controller options on the market, that use K-Silver JH-16 thumbsticks, at this price point, the Candy Con is the only one featuring factory customization. Anyone who knows @rossmanngroup will appreciate the fact that this controller features a user serviceable, socketed, battery. In a world against 'right to repair', it's refreshing to see a company developing forward thinking products.

I wish there was the option of symmetrical analog sticks so the Dpad can be directly across from the buttons.
isnt this just that chinese controller but repackaged? lol
It’s GameStop so yes, I’m sure it is. Just like their batteries
