Thanks for showing the way to make the molds! I also love with how many different colors you can get away with when painting rocks. Looking forward to part 2!
Hi, excellent question actually... you're asking if you can use the liquid latex to cast over something made out of Sculptamold if I understand correctly? I don't see that beeing a problem🤔. Tell you what, I will give this a try and let you know in my follow up video tutorial for this build👍
@@thecraftingbrothers9448 just realized I said that weird 😅. That is a good question too though and now I'm wondering how well that would work. What a meant was is there a way to pour sculptsmold into the latex to make a cast?
If you take bandage material and put it in between a set of the coats, it will give the mold a lot of strength! Say you're doing 4 coats, put the bandage material between coats 2 and 3.
Holly crap, those last minutes was like watching magic happen right before your eyes.
Thanks Franky D! Love trying out new stuff... Hope this build works out in the end

Awesome!...Thanks for the positive comments and I hope the final build will be worth the wait👍
A great tutorial! This should help all those crafters who are "scared" of using these materials to make terrain.
Thanks for that comment... I really do want to convey that this process is not too expensive or complicated👍
Thank you for this great tutorial. I am planning on doing an HO scale layout in the near future and your tips were extremely helpful. 👍
Thanks so much! This was a fun process for me
Love it! Great idea for molds
Now I want a shake, some oatmeal, and a pancake
LOL
Looking good! Something different!
Thanks! I really appreciate that comment👍
Great scenic rock. Would work nice for warhaming
BTW, that mixer made all the difference!
Are you referring to the mixing attachment for my drill? Yeah, I bought that for something else but it worked perfectly for this job!
You got a solid channel here. Just subscribed. Fantastic video! Any idea if you can just cast sculptamold with latex like you did in this video?

@@ArtJeremiah Aaah... Understood, I will try that as well. This could work as long as the Sculptamold is not too clumpy, will let you know🤔
@@thecraftingbrothers9448 Awesome.
Wow! 😯
pro tip: dont unroll the toilet paper. cut it vertically until you reach the cardboard.
Yes... You are correct, I have seen this done as well👍

Excellent tip! I think this is a great way to strengthen the molds for long term use... Thank you!
@@thecraftingbrothers9448 You're welcome. It does make the molds stronger and last longer.
