@@BasicFilmmaker Well, to add a little diversity here: there's something wrong with reviewing this (sent by the manufacturer for favorable review) and not mentioning/comparing with the better option, the product it's actually derivative of, the Pilotfly ATOMCUBE RX1. I know you'd feel a sense of responsibility to the overseas supplier, but the only value of video reviews on UA-cam for a mass audience is contextualization as to options for purchase and use, which requires comparison. Everything else is an advertisement (and a bargain for the manufacturer, instead of paying for placement the traditional way)...
Actually, didn't know about the PilotFly. As far as the manufacturer(s), I make sure they agree that a.) If they try and sway my opinion in any way, I will immediately refuse to review and return the product. They send it and get no say in the matter, and trust me, I don't need more stuff. It's way easier to make the money and buy something rather than spend a lot of my time reviewing something that costs $139. Possibly not everyone is like that, but that's the rules I play by. Thanks!
Hi friend ,the falcon eyes comes out the update version of F7 , It is the F7 fold , two lights kit , and support APP control . Do you have any interested to review it ?
All that for $149 bucks?! Wow! When I watching your video, I was thinking this was going to cost around $500 -$600 bucks. This blows away all my other lights that I paid way more for. Thanks for the find, Kevin!
Thanks Kevin. You’ve made me want to spend more money now and I’m a pauper pensioner!! Especially as the build is alioominium. My favourite word. I’ve just returned from Menorca and took a mini light with me. It’s surprising how useful they can be in ‘quick shot’ scenarios on the move but it also showed me just how important the light softening is with almost like a ‘point’ source. That one looks great.
Just checked the price on Amazon (UK) and at the time of writing it's £149. That's pretty good for such a well built, compact, quality light. Yet another item added to my wishlist.
Awesome review! I don't even need this thing, but you make me wanna buy it! Damn you! Luckily, my wife (aka The Warden) will exercise her Line Item Veto and prevent the purchase.
Sir can i order two of that at once..... i mean are they really hard built ????because what only i cant see through phone is how hard they are built...otherwise talking about brightness and color temprature ..i am in love with these lights..
Super cool light and review! I've been looking at the CoreSWX Torchled 250. This looks comparable. Is there a remote function or app? Did I miss it in the review?
Thanks, Kevin. That’s a really interesting light, especially the magnet and the different scenario options. Out of interest, have you ever posted a tutorial on using an onboard light successfully? I normally set up lights on stands when doing a full shoot, but there are occasions when it’s run and gun where I plop on an onboard light to do an external interview. But, it’s my weakness. However much I angle/ adjust the onboard light, the subjects often complain about being blinded and distracted...
Haven't done an onboard light video. I'm with you, I really don't like them for videos, and the people who I am doing interviews with don't like them either.

Responding to own comment to get it out of the "comments not responded to" queue. Notified UA-cam, not fixed yet. :)
Pretty cool light! Thanks for giving it a thorough, entertaining review!
Thank you sir. Coming from the king of lighting and audio, I’ll take it!! ❤️

Looks like a winner from Falconeyes!
I do really like it.
This looks pretty cool. May have to purchase it.
I like.

This was exactly what I was thinking. Hearing all the features and thinking, "my guess is $700."
Nope.
Captain Jack Seth M I got it, checked it out, THEN looked at the price and didn't believe it.

Thanks Ian! Do you folks have a lottery like we do in the states? If so, I elect you for the win. :)
Yay .... one on the way.......
Great! When you win, go hide from all your new "friends." :)
Thanks, Kevin. I hadn't heard about these.
Tou're welcome Jim!

Oh those darn wishlists - if only our rich uncles (I wish I had one of those) would just hit us up for our birthdays. :)
Excited that you can magnetically join two of these to make a bigger one if needed. It'd be a very flexible kit of 3.
Well now...hadn’t thought about joining these magnetically. Great idea Gary! 👍
Looking forward to this against the Aputure AL-MC. Please compare when the AL-MC arrives in a few weeks?
If I can get one, I’ll check it out.

LOL Bill! The wife (warden). 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Likewise... damn you KEVIN. Only this domain is mine (not married). No warden, so I ordered 2 of them. Again, another cool video - THANKS!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Ed Wouters LOL! This is why wives are valuable. They keep us from going broke. :)

Aluminum - hard. Yes, wherever you order, you can specify quantity. No cheap, well built.
Kevin - The Basic Filmmaker does this light have flickering issues??? As i want these light for vidoe shoot...
Nope.
Kevin - The Basic Filmmaker wonderfulll!!!!
+Allahabad Nuts 👍
$140? Unbelievable. Been looking for something versatile like this, so I think I might be getting one in my near future.
I'm liking it a lot.

Hey Conrad! I'm not aware of an app, but it wouldn't surprise me if that had or are making one.

Typo in title (seo)
The end was fun 😜
Good review
Thanks!!
I want that. I wish the battery wasn’t internal tho. Can you power it while plugged into USB?
Huh. Don’t know. I’ll check it out. Battery seems to last a long time.
Haha@ the end. I’m going to have to get one of these.
Works. Solid. Magneto’s favorite light. 😁
@@BasicFilmmaker : Just ordered one :)
Let me know what you think when you get it. I was expecting a crappy plastic thing. :)
Bummer, mine didn’t come with the fancy defusers. :(
WORTH IT OR NOT? WHAT?? Return it! Not cool!
What ISO were you shooting at 5:41? Full frame?
Just trying to get a sense of what I can really get out of the light.
I believe it was ISO 640, 50mm lens, Aperture 4.0, on Canon 5D Mark III.
Great review - Just purchased. I really need 2, though. : )
Nice. It was surprising. I thought it was just another one of those stupid plastic lights, opened the box, and impressed.
Very Cool Light :) I'm so impressed you pronounced Aluminium like an Englishman :D
Is there any other way? 😁
My kind of light
Thanks!
I needs that
I'm liking it a lot.

Dear JD. Kevin can not answer this until his bond hearing with Judge McNasty. 😁
@@BasicFilmmaker we've got your back, we'll have to patreon the heck out of that bail
LOL! 😀😀😀
Looks like the Boling P1 RGB without the handy mount 🤔
Just checked it out. Certainly does!
...But bigger, brighter, with more effects, and magnetic...
Don’t have the other one, but yep. 👍
Are you using it as a grow light?
LOL! 😂😂😂
Wow, only 150? Looks like that's going on the wishlist.
I though it was another one of cheap lights we all hate. This thing is a tank.
My Buddy my 46th Birthday was Saturday on August 31st it sucked did nothing getting old sucks.
Getting old is awesome. You can say whatever you want and everyone says, "Ah...he's just an old guy." :)
6:25.....😂
😀
Think harbinger had the vlogger pro light that this is pretty much a direct rip off of. you may want to check that one out as well.
I will. I can’t keep track anymore of who is copying who.
