When I was at my last Spartan Race, there was an obstacle in front of me which was a very hard one, and I did it just a few times in my life. I decided to stop, and think for a minute, or two. I planned how to do it, and after that I successfully and easily(!) passed it. This guy knows what is he talking about.
Goddamn I’m so pumped right now seeing you motivated mothertruckers take the torch and stand the line!!!! HOO-FUCKIN-AHHHHHHH!!!!!! RANGERRRRRRR!!!!! Are any of you highly dedicated, hard-charging skull crushers going infantry?
President Johnson was known for his one on one arguments with most powerful people in America. He was able to convince to his point of view almost anyone. In Johnson's biography I've read a story from his secretary. When Johnson was preparing for a serious meeting he would rehearse all possible versions of the argument, out loud in his office, that includes playing voice of his opponent. His secretary described heated arguments coming from Johnson's office while she knew for a fact he was there alone. It was because he even rehearsed tone of his voice and opponents voice too. The one on one arguments were so legendary, they got their own name: "the Johnson Treatment". Of course, we are talking about the guy with incredible political talent, ruthless manipulator and reader of characters, but still this man was not above squeezing every drop of battle preparation he could. Some people might find voice rehearsals embarrassing or weird at first, but just think, if the guy in the oval office did it, you can too.
@@mavb8244 From what I know, Special Operations is run much differently than the rest of the military. Hence, officers and enlisted might have somewhat different roles.
There's a video of one of the jet demo teams (think it was the Blue Angels, but may have been the Thunderbirds) where they rehearse the show sitting around a conference table with the eyes closed. The lead pilot talks through the radio commands he would be giving at each phase and the pilots move their hands as if they were on the stick.
I don’t know if you like thank yous, but thank you for these videos. I’m not one to be motivated by jacked guys in big mansions talking about “the daily grind” and other silly terminology. This is straight to the point and extremely motivating. I enjoy watching, and truly, thank you for these videos they mean millions.
Even with the best planning and rehearsals, “Murphy’s law always has a play in the game” and even the best laid plans and tactics can go awry when the shooting starts. The best plan, “Boy Scout, motto, be prepared.”
Great video. This is a lesson that I often practice, but should mentor to others. The Army taught me Risk Assessment, Chaos Management, and always have an exit strategy. I teach those tenets to others and will now include "Rehearse Everything." Thank you.
Is there possible to make a video about Special Tactics Officer? If it hasn’t been made already I’d like to see one describing the pipeline to becoming one, it’s duties, responsibilities and a basic overview of that career.
ANYONE who is in the Delayed Entry Program for the Navy or Marine Corps should be be watching exactly what this man is described in reference to "11 General Orders of Sentry" and rewriting it as they say it phrase by phrase along with understanding ranks with either regular or college ruled paper which ever is more comfortable. The FBI did this during the Georgia hostage crisis not far from the bunker by the use of wood and tools from a local hardware store, indicating they've done STADT work even though they might call it something else and don't need my sorry ass, ... I did this in order to pass a CDL examination. It is an integral part of Anti Karoshi Hypothetical PLAnned Response AKHPLAR. Odds are very strong the individual who created this video probably did this with rectangular NATO military symbols and diagrams.
Extremely helpful. I assume you have a second language due to the nature of your service, any chance of advice on learning foreign languages? Thank You.

Hey man I’ve gone all over the Internet and I haven’t found any video like my idea. I think your channel is awesome and this would make a great video. I was wondering if you’d be interested in doing a video ranking all of USA’s special operations units. You could even make into a multiple video series and each video covers a different branch until the finale. Also could you include the coast guard. Thank you for your service and time.
In aviation we call this chair flying. Think everything through before you step to the jet. Great video.

"Festina lente" latin for
"Make haste slowly."

Sir please never stop posting videos! Your knowledge is of great use to us.
As someone once told me decades ago, proper planning prevents piss poor performance. The 6 P rule. Rehearsals are in there.
Can you make a video about the difference between being enlisted in Special Operations and being an officer in Special Operations? Thanks!
he did already kind of do it. In the video where he explains the diffrences between enlisting and beeing a officer.
