    Just wow! Its difficult to explain how impressed I am with your presentations. I'm a former British Soilder and a serving cop. The advice you present in your tutorials is spot on for each topic, interesting and inspiring!
    I love how you have taken some complex topics and stripped them back to the bear bones and then created a simple no no nonsense presentation.

    I want to be in the special forces but I am worried about learning a new language. Any one that's been through special forces training is the language hard or easy for you?

    • @AJonVolk
      @AJonVolk 4 роки тому +4

      I've met an SAS dude and heard about their training through a few operators brothers so this mightn't be information from the source but learnability is something you need to master because you'll be expected to soak up all information like a sponge, if you forgot something you were taught a year ago even in sleep deprived states it's seen as quite embarrassing.
      So in terms of learning a language your actual problem might be you haven't quite mastered how you learn or it might be you don't have the fundamental belief you can do it so you don't have the mindset to do it.
      Either way make sure you have the the belief you can do it so you can have the mindset to do it, then master how you learn and become really good at learning and then the language component should be well and truly achievable and hopefully no longer a concern for you.
      great sources to help with any of this would be; Jordan Peterson, Jocko Willink and US military doctrine.
      This became more of an essay than intended so I hope that helps :)
      Hopefully LIASO responds to your comment

      @JoseCarver 4 роки тому +1

      I personally think that learning new languages is not so difficult. I speak Spanish and English, and I've been learning German and Russian. However I've never been in the military. Try learning a new language by yourself (Duolingo, UA-cam or any other mean) and see how it comes up

    Jumping isn't dangerous.....it's that sudden stop at the end that causes the problems. DZSTL takes winds inside a vehicle…..wind's good, jump is a GO. DZSTL passes winds of 12.9 knots and holding....you KNOW winds are going to BAD. Jumping on Barbara DZ on FT Carson.....if you look down and see Green, TURN AWAY....there's NOTHING green on the DZ that's your FRIEND (Cactus) (watched a jumper get over 200 cactus needles/spines pulled out by a medic on the DZ…...NOT fun)

    What i can do to join the military being a foreigner? Should i serve for my home country?

    • @caorusso4926
      @caorusso4926 4 роки тому

      @noglove nolove thanks for replying. I do support my country but the payment in the military is almost at the poverty line (lower that minimun wage).
      There is too the problem that my military is more corrupt that the US and will be almost impossible to make a carrer without knowing someone big. You only become special force if they want, not because you are good.
      Because of the small budget the army can only afford to give you a basic firearm training, if you are lucky a parachutes course.
      Because of the weak economy i will be better of doing anything other that the military. But i really want to serve, what i should do? Should i become a policemen? Or a firefighter?

    • @rl1271
      @rl1271 4 роки тому

      Tim Jon not nearly as bad as breaking your back, brain damage, or complicated bones such as your calcaneus or foot bones. You can die from blood clots if you break your femur, but if you receive immediate medical attention (which I did) you’ll be fine, especially if they put a titanium rod in your femur. I can run one year post accident. I also broke my heel bone which is much harder to recover from even with titanium implants.

  • @doctorartphd6463
    @doctorartphd6463 3 роки тому

    I have one hard hat. Do not use helmets for riding a bicycle. That's too over the top. Might as well be a boy in the bubble. When its your time, there's nothing you can do...it's that simple. God calls you, it doesn't matter how many helmets you have. LIVE aggressively and wildly, and let your life be a testimony of our life adventure. Be mired (overly mired) in safety concerns, understand there's a balance. Each may have different balance. Do NOT impose yours on mine. I am free.

    Hello sir, I often watch and enjoy your channel, much of the information presented is very useful.
    I do want to ask a question about the travel situation you mentioned in this video.
    I have been over seas, I am currently.
    I have called the Embassy, and the state, 6 weeks went by with nothing until I finally did something I hate to do, I went over the head of the local embassy, the capital Embassy, and regional embassy because none of them offer any counsel, nor respond. I would say it's a good idea to have info for the RSO, or dept of state. As in my case I had to contact a certian department inside the department of state. They then directed the Embassy to contact me. And the Embassy was to put it mildly beyond useless, offensive, and upset that I waited 6 weeks and then after getting lied to by the Embassy and Recieving no futher communication, they were un happy to say the least that they had to do their Job.
    I would create a PACE plan for dealing with Embassies and dept of state. Because in a lot of cases they are useless, corrupt, apathetic, or ignorant. I would ask them which is the biggest issue but they would say they dont know nor care.
    How would you create a plan to get US gov assistance if needed, and had to deal with an Embassy that just does not care? Granted the marines I was put in contact with, were the example of professionalism. As soon as it was handed over to the civilian side. That's when the Embassy crapped the bed.
    What plan or process would you set up as a work around for that type of situation?
