Today I'm looking at some of the biggest transfer rumours to hit football over the last 7 days. Including: Matthijs de Ligt to Manchester United, Anthony Gordon to Liverpool, Isak to Chelsea, Calafiori to Arsenal, Kimmich to City, Eze to Tottenham, Zirkzee & Ugarte to Man Utd & loads more!
Which transfer WILL happen from this list?
Riccardo Calafiori will go to Arsenal
I think thw most likely are Calagori to Arsenal, Nico to Barca, De Ligt to United along with Zirkzee.
The one i dont think people are tracking is Xavi S to barca. Barca is his desired location and he keeps pushing his decision back. I believe this may be to allow Barca to get back to the 1 to 1 status which frees up more money for wages allowng barca to take his wages.
If Bayern is that interested along with RB Leibzig but Xavi is liking posts about him going to barca in the last 2 months then i dont see any other reason to keep postponing his decision.

I think the video is a better concept if it's ranking how good they will be rather than how likely to happen. You are an excellent analyst/pundit, rather than an ITK telling us if they will/wont happen

Not a Man United fan but if they can get Zirkzee, Ugarte and DeLigt for under/around 120m, that has the potential to be a great bit of business.

They sell pretty astutely and have been smart with the finances at BlueCo (hotel sales etc.) by the looks of it
@@joethomlinson_doesn’t seem fair to all the clubs that don’t have a hotel to sell. Honestly, it’s pretty ludicrous that Chelsea are getting away with all of these loopholes, FFP needs to act.

If man utd do get De ligt and ugarte, and I think they will, they will be a very good and improved side next year
The Anthony Gordon rumour / news made me nervous as a liverpool fan.. we already have Nunez, Diaz, Gakpo and even Jota who could play on the left. The attack is the one area on the pitch we don't actually need to strengthen right now (although there is an argument for another right sided player to challenge / replace salah if he leaves). We desperately need another centre back and a holding midfielder. Plus he's ex Everton, no chance.
I'm a little surprised you're not in for Calafiori like Arsenal & Chelsea.

De ligt would be an amazing signing for Manchester United. He is a worldclass CB and for around 40m its a steal!
He was class but not so sure about him now coz he hasn't featured that much so, may be he lost his golden touch at a early age
I think Rashford needs to move out of the Premier League in the same way Kane needed to move out of the Premier League.

Just because Pep is playing one way this year doesn't mean he won't play differently next year. He never wanted to play Walker really but he was too good not to start. The same would happen with Kimmich
For me the issue with De Ligt is that he is an aggressive front foot defender, which doesn't blend well with Martinez.
The amount of pens given up by that duo would be insane

On an old rebuild I did, I signed de ligt for united, I feel like he is meant for united and more than ever now, this will happen.

Yamal is one of the best. With 16 even being in the top 5 is absurd. But yes Saka is better.
Saka is a modern day robot winger. Lamine is a magic winger like what we used to see before super systematic football became a thing.
Saka is good but Lamine is the type of player you cant wait to watch.

Simons to Bayern is quite crazy with the amount of competition there and Bayern are on a downfall, Xavi Simons needs to be in a team on the up with better quality like a Barcelona, a arsenal a Liverpool them teams are more suited for him then a declining Bayern which I think he very much deserves a larger money move, but I can't complain

I think a great video for you to do in the future or with the Football Daily team is to look at if there was a missing generation of talent in football.
I believe the top players aged 26 to 32 are no where near as good as these kids coming through mow between 15 and 25 or as good as Messi and Ronaldos generations before.
It be interesting to evalaute the takent pool and analyze if there is a real missing generation of top talented footballers.
I would love it if Nico Williams ended up at Barca. But I would also love it if he stayed at Bilbao.

I don't think he'll be as elite as Kante was, but at Ajax Ten Hag liked to play with Edson Alvarez there, so a pure destroyer like Ugarte could suit Man Utd very well if there's enough ball progression in other areas.

no he's not, Ugarte is far less technical, far less athletic than Kante and more of a destroyer at the base. Kante was a full action box to box midfielder, just had insane recovery speed that he could be ultra defensive as well.

Diaz will be sold, but I think Gakpo will play left wing next season. Liverpool are also heavily linked with Calafiori, we need a left footed centreback. Barcelona want Luis Diaz, so I could see Liverpool going for Williams

No, he's saying he's not the type of player you might expect him to be. But with Utd's wingers being mostly focused on getting themselves a goal rather than servicing a striker (hence Hojlund's struggles) it could be a good thing to get a provider rather than another finisher in that position.
Reports in spain keep stating that if Nico is going to leave the only team he would leave for is Barca like you said.
Once barca gets to the 1 to 1 rule in the next week they will be able to pay the release clause not to mention the 100+ mil bonus from nike arriving before the end of the window.
V tough deal to get done with their budget!

They are about to complete a deal to replace the 40 mil owed by Libero and provide an additional payment begond that getting the club back to the 1 to 1 rule in spain meaning their salary margin will increase back into around the 400 to 500 mil mark and every dollar borught in as revenue can be used for signings.
Tbhis means they can begin to spend again. They cant spend crazy amounts like they did on Griezmann or Coutinho in the past which they shouldnt anyway but spending 70 to 80 mil om Nico and CDM is feasible.
This is also not including the 100 to 150 mil signing bonus from Nike which they will most likely recieve before the end of August.
In addition with elections coming up next year Laporta needs Nico to strengthen his claim to stay as president.
