The VIOMI SE is an improved version of the Viomi V2 & Xiaomi Mi Vacuum mop P (Styj02ym). The Robot can vacuum and Mop, or both in one run. This Hybrid robovac comes with a very competitive price to settle in the same price range as the famous Mijia Mop p.

There is no Viomi SE device I can coonect to when I open my Mi Home app. Which vacuum cleaner should I use in app to be able to connect to my vacuum cleaner? So much available Mi vacuum cleaners but no SE.

Hi, nice video. Can you please tell me if the viomiSE has to be connected to wifi all the time to use it, or only the first time when you set it up?
If you want to control it over APP , you need to online yes.. otherwise you can just press the power button but you can't change suction power etc.
Long hair gets caught on the axle of the center wheel. I am not able to pull it out. How can I remove the hair?

In my opinion if you have the extra cashflow..I think V3 is superior:) but still the SE does its job well:)..
V3 is better. More working hours, more vacuum power, more dust and water tank. But both are best for price. If you have a home that bigger than 150m2 absolutely you need V3.
What about vacuuming pet hair?

You can tell if Viomi SE shares the same parts as other models? I saw that the colors are different and I would like to know if the filters, the rotating sweeping brush and the side brush are of the same standard as the Viomi V3 or Viomi V2 Pro. Thank you.
If you need to decide between Viomi SE and roborock S5 MAX which one you choose?
I wish I could answer your question..but I can't judge on s5max as I never tested it myself. I do think roborock makes awesome machines so either choice would be a good one. I do had the S5 but I liked the Viomi V2 more because of the mopping feature. The Viomi SE is like an upgraded V2 so I would certainly chose SE over S5... S5MAX , according to many Roborock lovers, their best release (price/value) so far, especially nowadays they are pretty cheap.

Cloth and brush and bins are interchangeable with V2/V3 & SE:)

Nice review. Since it uses 2 in 1 box does it have any water leaking issues like with Xiaomi Vacuum Mop P ? Can you save multiple floor maps in a house for vacuuming and also for mopping ? How's the battery life ? Would you recommend it for a muti-storied house where 2 floor are carpeted and one floor has wooden flooring ? Also could you also explain if the Container capacity difference with Viomi V3 and V2 Pro ? Is it significantly less or comparable ? Can you do Vacuuming and Mopping together or I need to empty the Vacuum box clean and then fill in water for mopping ?

The 2in1 box is the same as the V3 , which has a different way of pumping water. Even though I never had 'big' leakings with the Mi mop P..the one that's inside the SE is improved. In my video you can see me shaking the tank while water is inside...it doesn't leak:)
You can save multiple floors so it is possible for a two or more leveled house. I would recommend to buy an extra dock for your second floor for extra convenience...I don't have carpets, but I think it will do just fine. I have laminate floors every where and tiles in bath/kitchen/toilet.
Battery life is good, my house isn't that big ..it can do both levels with ease..
The mixed tank is same as V3 and capacity is same as in the older models. You can interchange the tanks with all Viomi vacuums (V2,V3, mi mop p).
The mixed tank can vacuum and mop at the same time..the water and dust are separated. I recommend if you have a big mess to do vacuuming first..but that's with all hybrid robotvacuums.

Can it climb? Unlike Mi Mop-p which is really bad with going over obstacles that are any taller than 2mm

Hello Sk Tk! Yes the water tank works. Untill now.. all V models (V2, V3) and SE have same system. So you can use them:)
The SE filter is HEPA and washable:)

Why there aren't any new features? Why there are no changes in app? Why Viomi is selling a new model, and still we are waiting for fixing firmware bugs from march 2019. Where is carpet mode detection? Why so small battery? I see that there aren't any changes in water tank! Why it was not fixed? Why water pipes in tank are still so short? Why still no option to choose room cleaning order? Why no option to choose room suction power? WHY STILL THERE AREN'T NO GO ZONES ONLY FOR MOPPING? Is robot still have problem with finding returning way to dock? Is robot still having problem when something changes near dock? Is robot still having problem with finding correct position on map when You pick it up, and then place down during cleanup? I think 100% these problems are still present! :P Why Viomi are you making new model, FIRST MAKE GOOD SOFTWARE!

Nicht kaufen! Der Viomi SE ist eine schlecht programmierte Katastrophe. Verliert er die WLAN-Verbindung oder hängt er sich gar während der Erstanmeldung auf, dann geht gar nichts mehr. Zurücksetzen der WLAN-Verbindung hilft nicht. Zurücksetzen auf Werkseinstellungen hilft nicht. Ich das Problem 4x gehabt. Jedes mal musste ich das Gerät zur Reparatur einschicken oder zum Komplettausch.
