As a former binge eater, “intuitive eating” tricked my brain into thinking I can binge and call it “intuitive eating”. I don’t think it works for people with eating disorders. Our brain is easily triggered. 😔 InshAllah it gets easier for all of us. It’s a very difficult struggle, we are faced with food every day and it doesn’t get easier.
I am so sick of Bing eating. Since I was Anorexic, I feel like an epic failure. I have gained so much weight, I don't want to be seen by people who knew me in the past. I just can't control myself.
@@dee00011 therapy. Really sitting with someone to help me figure out what is on my mind. Why do I feel like eating trash all the TIME? Therapy changed my life. Not the gym or fitness people. Therapy
the way you spoke to your self in the beginning of the vlog going through the thought process that you aren’t hungry cause you’ve just had crisps was great! Reflection is key! Also most of your meals/snacks were protein based which I’m sure helps with muscle gain and recovery from all the gym sessions Dina.. try to go easy on yourself :)
I love your videos sooo much and this was so real. Keep it up your an amazing woman in all aspects and it’s not easy for us as Mums whatsoever. A day in my life pamper edition / self care would be good!!!
Unrelated but I'm curious about your kitchen, do you like that style of having top to bottom cupboards without the counter space, does it work out better to keep tidy?
Go on Stephanie Buttermores channel, go on her playlists and watch her ALL IN JOURNEY. It could possibly change your life. Just give it a go i wish I had it when in the worst part of my own ED journey. She put so much work into it and it’s so helpful to people who are especially struggling with binge eating/trying to learn intuitive eating.
Years ago, my Mother bought a diet book called, The Rotation Diet. She tried it for a little while, but didn't stay on it. I read the whole book just to gather how it worked. The diet is about having a cheat day every so often. In the beginning, the diet had more cheat days, and then over time, there were more diet days than cheat days. The one bit of information that has stayed with me is that the book said not to deny yourself if you really, really wanted something. That was the whole point of the 'rotation' in the diet. You could switch out a diet day for a cheat day, and move the next cheat day further away. The book also said that before eating something sweet, and high in calories, eat some fruit first. Eat a grapefruit, or a couple of apples, or a bowl of grapes, etc. before eating the sweet you're craving. The book claimed that the calories from the sweet treat would get tangled up in the fruit's fiber, and would get flushed out. Now, I don't know how true that is, but if I have fruit in the house I will tend to eat some before eating sweets. And here's my theory: If I eat fruit first, I'll eat less sweets. The less sweets I eat, the less calories I eat. So, that is the one thing about the book that I still remember and try and do whenever I get a craving.
@@lora1420 - You are most welcome. As diets go, one that allows cheat days seems a better way to go than those that deny you your cravings. Cravings are usually what ends a diet. This diet seems to understand that, and allows it so that you don’t get discouraged and quit.
I stopped watching you consistently a while back so I’m not sure when you came out and said you had ADHD. I got diagnosed in 2020 and suspected I had ADHD since 2019. Since then my closest friends and most of the people I watched on youtuber or followed elsewhere have also come out as having ADHD. It made me realise that this is probably one of the reasons I found certain creators engaging 😂
Also ADHD and binge eating tend to go hand in hand. It’s a mix of forgetting to eat because you are so distracted or hyper fixated and then eating anything and everything because you are looking for a food based dopamine hit. You add Body dysmorphia and disorder eating to the mix and it’s a chaotic combo .
If she were lucky, food wouldn’t be this much of a struggle for her. And besides, this is only one day in her life and most of what she eats are small snacks or meals throughout the day. If we had to count all the calories, I doubt it would be all that much. And another important thing: you are forgetting that she has been working out consistently for the past few years. And the workouts she does, are weights mostly, which we all know increases one’s metabolism a lot (besides exercise in general increasing the amount of calories you burn). It’s really condescending to say that she is lucky, when we can all see that she works and struggles hard to keep her figure as it
@@Ashina12345 well, she always have had a skinny figure even when she was not working out. I think it’s not fair to “attach me” like you are a member of her family! It’s clear that not many people know how some metabolisms’ conditions do not improve that much even with lot of work out and many types of food need to be avoided in a diet when she can eat everything. Not intention to hurt her or minimise her struggles, but she is not that bad as many other people. She is in a very privileged place to be in her eating disorder with lots of support around and many help to focus on it even having children to take her. Many mums can not even find way to go and workout in or outdoors so please… easy yeah!
Working out regularly does not make your body always skinny. It depends on your structure first, metabolism, diet and hormones. For sure it’s not nice to guess if she’s bulimic or not… c’m’on! But she has a very nice body already and probably even fast burning body system 😎

That’s so rude. Considering she’s discussed her issues with eating and food. Some people just have a fast metabolism
