Could you please tell me how to make the monster interact with the other collisions so that it does not go through the walls?
Great tutorial! Could you create a basic tutorial on how to make events happen randomly or based on player interactions. eg lights flickering/items moving.
Something like the game mechanics of Phasmophobia.
I have an idea loosely based around similar mechanics but cant seem to know where to start to tie it all together.

been a fortnite map creator for a few years now & its amazing to see whats achievable now. I find Verse very confusing, even when i follow along lol but great work. I hope theres a device soon that just enables a prop to follow a player cause I cant get it to work on verse 😅

it doesnt work for me. First of all the bear isnt chasing me, he is just on the same place. And if i go into the mutator zone the bear gets invisible, nothing happens. I did everything exact like in the video, i copy and pasted the verse code. Who knows where the problem is?

I'm almost done making what I think is a pretty fun practice map for fortnite but I just need to figgure out how to add this rank sistem so that the players actually feel like they're working towards something.
I want to use the ranks that are in the game and I'd like te progress to be saved from one session to another.

The code doesn't work at all now. I followed everything you did down to the detail and it's not doing anything. Every time I walk into the mutator zone the monster just disappears.

Have you found any new ways of registering damage to players besides the damage volume?

@@WarforgeXP Is there anyway to get collision information between the meshes of an object and player? If so, we could instantiate a damage volume and on collision, move the damage volume to the position of the player. Is this possible?
@@BraggsTippingPoint we can’t instantiate damage volumes either 😂
@@WarforgeXP what if we created the damage volume ahead of time and just referenced it?
@@BraggsTippingPoint yes that is the way. The issue right now is collision. Mutator is the best bet for that as far as I can tell. Another option is coding collision detect (check distance to player each loop iteration)
when he moves you can see him teleport for me. Is there a way to make it less studdery. also It has like no AI and just trys to go through the wall is there an updated code for that?
can we do everything and at the end enter the verse code? how do we copy and paste the whole verse at once

I used to, but honestly I’m all in on UEFN. This is THE FUTURE for indie devs and small teams
I've seen and played UEFN maps in Fortnite with fnaf characters and others like ghostface, jigsaw, etc.. so, what did you mean by you can't publish your game with those characters in them? Others have. Or am i missing something...??
you can you just have to give rights to the correct owners
somehow the material i applied didnt show up on the bear
go to material you created for the Character and from the details go to usage and click on used with skeletal mesh .
I created mine but struggle with the iarc

Does the cenimatic happen for all players or just the one that triggers it? And if it's all of them, is there a way to make it just for one so you could have multiple players in the same game?
Ok so i have a couple of problems that i need help with, first he just moves and phases thru everything, second he only moves after the first jumpscare, and then last he is faced the oppisite way

I have an issue, if we are 2 or more players, the AI only follows 1 player, what can I change to fix that? I have 4 AI but they follow the same guy
You need to decide the AI behavior first. What should they do? You could write code so the AI goes after the closest player

The following bones are missing from the bind pose:
mixamorig:HeadTop_End
mixamorig:LeftHandThumb4
mixamorig:LeftHandIndex4
mixamorig:RightHandThumb4
mixamorig:RightHandIndex4
mixamorig:LeftToe_End
mixamorig:RightToe_End
This can happen for bones that are not vert weighted. If they are not in the correct orientation after importing,
please set the "Use T0 as ref pose" option or add them to the bind pose and reimport the skeletal mesh. @@WarforgeXP

very rushed man, you left the behaviour of the monster out, the slowing down when lighted up with the flashlight, how can the player win? there's no conditions.
The only issue I'm having, (major issue) is that when I get into the Mutator Volume, my Bear starts chasing me but backwards, like with its back towards me. Any idea why this is?
In Yaw change -90 to +85. You can adjust it to your liking.
