Let’s be honest, if the exact same model was implemented by a western country everyone would call it the best thing since sliced bread. Got to give credit where it’s due. Every event has been entertaining, safe and great for boxing. So many padded 0 records are being exposed as good fighters must fight each other now. But I agree with Simon, they must take criticism too and if I had one it would be the atmosphere in arenas isn’t the best. I think with time as the sport grows there it will be but perhaps an easy/cheaper way for fans abroad to travel into Saudi?
@@petergordon2712 do you ignore the American human rights abuses when they killed over 1 million innocent Iraqis? Or Vietnam? Or the atomic bomb in Japan? If you can tell me where Saudi had killed more than 1m people or done anything remotely close to America then we can have the human rights conversation 👍
@@petergordon2712 why not start with the human rights violations in your own backyard. Those violations never stopped US or pretty much any other nation from hosting a boxing match did it?
No atmosphere, not just the boxing they tried it with Snooker & it was a disaster, the arabs in attendance looked bored & clueless as to what was going on! They're just exploiting the greed of Sportsmen, you'd think that they don't earn enough money as it is. The Football out there is a fkn joke aswell.
Everybody been blindsided by the money Saudis are trying to buy sport as it makes money they will chuck big money at it for the first 10yrs till they own it

Saudi invest in the country the UK and America has forgot to do this for so long. There is no money in boxing in the UK anymore there's still some in America but not much. Saudi is doing a great job giving us fans the fights. They could have a little better atmosphere but that's my only complaint. Respect to the Saudis
ermmm wasnt the 5v5 mostly UK fighters? who would of made a big payday here in the UK? the atmosphere over here in the UK is also second to none we love our fighters bro you wont find a better atmosphere than 2 fighters with bad blood at wembley its absolute magic here mate, the US is full to the brim with padded records and fighters ducking eachother and i think the 5v5 proved that 😂👍 they stepped up to the plate and got eaten bro, great fights though
I don't see many Muslim boxing champions throughout history. So no they don't have a right to be at the top table. Shee how his stance will change now the Saudis are talking to him 😂😂😂

I agree, Saudi truly is the future of boxing.
So we should ignore the human rights abuses in saudi then?.

Fearless, ferocious, and absolutely phenomenal!
Plain and simple everyone has their price and Saudi Arabia has decided to pay it.
I don't care where the fights are as long as the best fight the best and if saudi is the place to fund these monster fights so be it
What's better a sloppy fight between two cabdrivers with a great atmosphere or a fight between two World level boxers in Ryad ?
Every time I listen to Simon Jordan I think it's conversations not converzations

All about a pound note, both the sports and most certainly Simon!
So Man Utd should play all their home games in Saudi if they offer enough money?
Simon will say anything he's told to by his Jewish masters
Terrible atmosphere in Saudi for the fights but good fights are being made . It ain’t the capital of boxing but it is developing.

The saudis are giving most top boxers around twice as much they would've made in the UK or USA.
