This is fantastic, short and sweet but filled with some much information that you can watch it multiple times and pick up something each time. Thank you!
4:54 which really priceless for the beginner like me, thanks a lot. it makes everything clear and contrast 🙏🙏
This is lovely! I rly want to see more different shape language used for female characters. Too often they're reduced to soft shapes.
Exactly, just as an acnedote, I was trying to design a cast of characters the other day and the males had pretty defferent body types: like a buff dude, an overweight one, a midget, an esqueletic one... But then when I saw the women I saw that they had the same body type so I had to redesign like half of them to give them the same diversity as the guys. I didnt even realize this was such a thing until that day and I believe I was at least a bit influenced by popular media and how most female characters there have a similar shape language
Short, concise, and informative! Thank you!
Lovely stuff, thanks for sharing. Also, that triangle thief guy was fab!
I'm in LOVE with his style.
The difficult part IS to move those shape around , from different angles , and came UP with appealing poses
This made me see character design in a totally new way! Thanks
Never seen a tutorial this short and informative... thanks
So helpful! Thanks so much, Nick and the Powerhouse Animation Studios for this. One of my weak points has always been character design and this surely has helped me face it with more confidence!
